I bought a new 2011 Explorer ar Friendly FOrd topday. I'm very happy with the Explorer and my salesperson. The new Explorer is light years ahead in both comfort and options vs. the 2002 Explorer I traded in. It looks and great drives great, much smoother ride than my old one. Joe said its cause its made on a car frame now. I only have one complaint about the overall visit, it took too long. Tha staff was friendly, Joe was very helpful. I just wish it hadn't taken two hours

After myself & some friends of mine had been ripped off by Gaudin Ford via having had used parts that were not working rather than the new parts that had been paid for, I went to Friendly Ford who lied about the repairs that needed to be done, took 10 days before looking at the car rather than a couple hours as promised, & asked for several thousand more dollars than any other mechanic would charge.I had to get it towed somewhere else. Because of this they got upset. They then took my car hostage until I paid them a ridiculous amount for "diagnostic fees" (which only took them a few minutes), & worst of all purposely ruined my clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder, drained my battery, & did not put the parts back together.(This was after they refused to let me have the car for 3 days because they said they had to put the parts back together)! A civil lawsuit is pending.
