For the past two months, my wife and I have been struggling with loud bangs in our pipes. We had two plumbers come to our house - one was a local handyman and the other from a well known commerical plumbing service. Both said we had water hammer and that they'd have to cut into our walls to fix the problem. I looked some more on the internet and found Friendly Plumber and decided to give them a shot. Robert arrived on time and immediately got to looking around. Well, apparently, it wasn't water hammer at all. Imagine that? And to think the other plumbers wanted to cut our walls! I will certainly call Friendly Plumber for any future plumbing problems that may occur in my house.

We had a leak behind the wall and Friendly Plumber was the third one to arrive to assess the situation. The other two plumbers wanted to rip into the wall and barely wanted to do any investigation. The first plumber who visited me wanted to charge me an arm and a leg even though they were late for the appointment by 2 hours! The second one was cheap, yes, but I could hardly understand what the plumber was saying, plus the incredibly high price he wrote on the estimate, five figures! I wasn't about to sign to that, and I was completely turned off by that too. Friendly Plumber was the third plumbing company who showed up. The guy was clean shaven, in uniform (which the others weren't) and just looked professional. Most importantly, it really showed that he took the time to think through where the problem could be and isolated the area where the leak was coming from. Within two hours the leak was identified. He went out to pick-up the part he said was needed to fix it and the job was done the same day. I am satisfied with the price I was charged and at least this guy got the job done when other plumbers I thought were plain unreasonable. Most importantly, no more leaks, which is great for my water bill and the environment!

I called this company because they were recommended by my neighbor who already used them. I am reviewing them because I was impressed by them. They were very friendly and professional over the phone, and came out right away to give me a quote. The price was pretty good and they were able to start right away. They installed a walk in bath for my disabled mother and she is very happy that she can now take a bath on her own.

My water heater broke Wednesday morning. I called Home Depot and paid by credit card for their guaranteed same day service. No one ever showed up in spite of my repeated calls. Finally, they told me they would try to schedule someone to come over the next day, Thursday. Right then and there, I cancelled my order. I had an important job interview for Thursday and I couldn't very well show up stinking. I did a Google search and found Friendly Plumber's website. It said they've in business for 10 years, professional, so fingers crossed, I called their number. I spoke to their receptionist and pleaded for help. I told them how Home Depot stiffed me, and despite their fully booked schedule, they had a plumber at my house within 3 hours. He did a great job going the extra mile, and charged just a little over what Home Depot credited back to my account.
