My water heater broke Wednesday morning. I called Home Depot and paid by credit card for their guaranteed same day service. No one ever showed up in spite of my repeated calls. Finally, they told me they would try to schedule someone to come over the next day, Thursday. Right then and there, I cancelled my order. I had an important job interview for Thursday and I couldn't very well show up stinking. I did a Google search and found Friendly Plumber's website. It said they've in business for 10 years, professional, so fingers crossed, I called their number. I spoke to their receptionist and pleaded for help. I told them how Home Depot stiffed me, and despite their fully booked schedule, they had a plumber at my house within 3 hours. He did a great job going the extra mile, and charged just a little over what Home Depot credited back to my account.

My fiance has been using Friendly Plumber for his house for over 8 years. For me, it's my second year with them. The best thing that we both appreciate about this company though, is their professional handling of matters. One time, there was a most unfortunate blockage on our guest toilet and when I called them, I was discreetly told by the receptionist that their plumbers were much too skilled for those type of problems. They can come-out the same day off course, but she just wanted to let me know that there are actually rooter-type companies in the phone book that specialize in such instances, at very reasonable prices. Because their plumbers are much more skilled, then off course at this particular instance, theirs might be a higher charge. She said she just wanted to let me know ahead of time, just so I wouldn't be disappointed. They were professional and straightforward, and didn't pull any punches. Impressive, and much appreciated! The next project I had them tackle was a major bathroom and kitchen remodel. I think the price I was charged was very fair, considering I literally had the two rooms flip its floorplan. I had a jacuzzi installed, plus an eight burner stove. It has been an absolute pleasure using my new appliances and I am thankful for my fiance's discovery of Friendly Plumber.

I first heard about this company from another search engine. Then, I promptly forgot about them until a couple of months ago, when I needed a plumber. I called at 4:58pm, on a Friday, STRESSING about getting a machine. to my surprise, I got a human being! Not an outside hired operator type, but an actual, professional employee, who promptly told me how to shut-off my water heater temporarily, until they can fix it the next day. Let me see, I didn't have to blow my Friday dealing with a plumbing problem and the guy I spoke with, Robert, even came the next day and I wasn't charged a special "Saturday" rate or anything! Kudos to Friendly Plumber.

I'm on the road 300 days of the year and after getting 4 completely different sewer bids on my long weekend, I went with Friendly Plumber. They were the second most expensive, but the guy offered a creative way to save my lawn and skirt around my wife's antique English rose bushes. While their competitors exuded indifference, I'm thankful Friendly went the extra mile.

My husband and I came back from a great holiday to a water heater that overflowed my basement. áThank goodness this happened while we were already in town or we surely would have been in trouble. Robert, the plumber who worked on our heater was as friendly and professional as can be and offered lots of advice on securing our house next time so that this will never happen to us again. While chatting, I learned that he too just got back from vacation, from the very same place no less. áSmall world!

My house needs a slew of plumbing repairs. Luckily, this company was recommended to me by my hairdresser. I originally had a bathroom remodel done by another plumber who tried twice to get the job to pass inspection from the city. After two failures and the inspector pointing out what seems to me rather elementary things that were just common sense to do, I had Friendly Plumber do the last inspection, because I'm not about to strike out 3 times. My remodel passed and the inspector even commented "nice work" to the plumber. This was the same inspector who was so grumpy before, it was unbelievable. Needless to say, I'm not taking any more chances and I'm using this company from now on.

The first time I used Friendly Plumber was to replace my leaky kitchen faucet. At least I wanted it replaced, until Rob talked me out of it. Recently, Rob installed the hook-ups for my washer/dryer. I really appreciate Rob's persistence in helping me get what I never knew I could have.

Called Friendly Plumber first for a leaky kitchen faucet. They told me $40 trip charge - no thanks. So, I called the next guy on my search results because his estimate is free. Took the afternoon off since they gave me a 3-5pm window of when the guy was going to show up. I waited, and waited, and waited. No one showed up. At 5:45, I called the plumber again and was told that the supervisor is talking to their plumber on the other line, and they put me on hold. I was on hold for over 10 minutes on my cell phone, paying for every glorious minute. The receptionist finally came on the line to tell me that he's definitely not coming that evening. They can squeeze me in the next day though. They just can't do any work that day because their schedule's full. This is what I got for being cheap! I called Friendly again the day after and this time I got their last appointment for the day. Apparently someone cancelled. Friendly plumber showed up, unscrewed the handle, replaced a thingy, screwed it back on, and done. Man that was fast, and professional! I'm totally sold.

Our toilet backed last Friday and so I immediately searched for a plumber. Found Friendly Plumber's good reputation and when I spoke to the receptionist, I was referred to another drain cleaning company, who I was unable to reach, so I called Friendly again. I was told that alternatively, I or someone handy I know can also rent a snake from Home Depot, and it'll solve the problem too. $44 got it done. Thanks for being professional and not hanging up on me, and for all your help!
