I took my dogs to Dr. Cutcheon for years at Medlock Bridge; I now drive 45 minutes each way to continue to take my dogs to him at Friendship Springs. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and Dr. Cutcheon is one of those "one in a million" vets. He's treated my dogs for cancers, pancreatitis and severe intestinal bugs. If it wasn't for his thoroughness we would have lost 1 dog 5 years sooner than we did to mast cell tumours that another vet brushed off as a fatty tumour. He has always gone above and beyond. He is a phenomenal diagnostic vet and an excellent surgeon. His Vaccines for Life program is a great deal!

We rescued a sweet but very timid and scared 1 year old shepard mix from the shelter a week ago. She warmed up a little when we brought her home but we couldn't even get close enough to her to check her incision from being spayed so naturally, we wanted to find a vet ASAP especially to look for pre existing conditions and are so glad we found a great one! We were so impressed by the vet from the environment to Dr. Cutchin. The staff was friendly, helpful and very patient as it took awhile to transition her, like from the waiting room to exam room, where they didn't rush us or tell us what to do but helped to calm her down. She hid in the corner waiting for the doctor once we got to the exam room, trembling the whole time but Dr. Cutchin was wonderful with her. He moved the chairs and got right down on the floor with her to examine her to gain her trust and proceeded to examine her. Aside from being great with her, he took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns, and I had a lot! Overall, it was a great experience where we were very impressed with how well they worked with us and handled her anxiety and have gained our business for life!

I never knew that veterinarians like Dr. Cutchin existed. He, his staff (especially Rhonda and Wendy), and his hospital are smartest, most caring, and most professional animal caregivers I have ever seen in my life. It didn't even smell like a vet place. My dog has been miserable for years because all the other vets had been misdiagnosing her, and I had all but given up hope that anyone could really help her, but with just a little effort he figured out what was wrong and now she is the most comfortable she has been in years (severe skin problems). I can't say enough good about Friendship Springs Veterinary Care.

A truly one of a kind facility, offering personal care and commitment to all that pass through the door. So knowledgeable and always going above and beyond to deliver impeccable service. Gunnar and Sam love the attention and kindness they always receive. I highly recommend this fabulous team.

We've been dog owners for many years and have dealt with numerous vets. In our experience, Dr. Trae Cutchin epitomizes the best attributes of a vet: professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and simply put, a very nice person. He more than administers to their health issues, but takes a personal interest. When your pet has a health problem, it's not unusual for him to call you at home in the evenings to ask how you're pet's doing. During his appointments he's not rushed, but takes the time to exam and discuss your pets condition, and ensures you understand the pets condition and treatment before you leave. If you're looking for a vet, look no further, you won't find a more professional vet, clinic and staff than at Friendship Springs.

I have 10 dogs and recently 5 of them suffered a series of life-threatening emergencies including autoimuune, portal liver, venomous snake bite, spinal, and GI diseases. Most people do not know how good their veterinarians are until something like this happens. Dr. Cutchin is truly a professional in his field. Because of him, every one of my pets survived well. I have worked with rescue groups for years, and because of my behind the scenes knowledge of veterinarians, I know that most other vets would not have been able to do what he did as well as he did. They received the best care with full attention to detail. I cannot say enough good about him.

I was reading the reviews on this hospital, and I just had to comment. This has to be the cleanest animal hospital I have ever been in. Most of the ones I have been to before, I was afraid to sit down or touch anything. They also have one of the friendliest staffs I have ever seen. They were very responsive to every question I had. And, as far as the doctor is concerned, he spent more time with me than any vet ever has before. Very knowledgeable and very thorough, without any arrogance whatsoever. I thought he was very friendly and down-to-earth. And, unlike some clinics where there are clinic animals running loose everywhere, they had the two very friendly dogs in the reception office but this area has a half door so they were not able to interact with my pet or any others in the check-in/check-out area. I have nothing but the highest regard for this veterinary facility.

The clinic smelled of urine very strongly. My pet was being boarded in the kennel, I called 3 times to check on him and no one answered the phone!!! When my pet was returned to me he was filthy. His towel was covered in urine and one of his toys was missing! There were two dogs in the reception area that belonged to the STAFF, where my dog had to be in order for me to check out and one of the dogs bit mine! The clinic should never allow an aggressive dog to have contact with a clients dog! I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. The doctor was very rude and arrogant. Way overpriced!

I worked at Friendship Springs as a receptionist and occasionally as a tech. I never worked for a veterinary hospital before, so I didn't really have anything to compare them to and I always figured one vet was about like any other. That is, until I moved back to Orlando and had to start looking for a new vet for my own pets. I didn't think it would be all that hard. Was I wrong or what! I looked at several vet hospitals and although they seemed nice, when I started asking key questions (since I now knew what to look for), even the nicest one was sorely lacking by comparison to Friendship Springs. I always knew how much Dr. Cutchin cared about trying to do the best job for his patients and his clients, I just didn't know how special he was. He puts every vet I have seen since then to shame with his insistence upon "patient first" care, his willingness to go the extra mile for his clients, the efforts he puts into staying current, and certainly not least, his expertise as a doctor. Truly, veterinarians like him are few and far between. You think your vet is good, but how do you really know? Unless you know someone well who has worked behind the scenes, you really can't know. Take it from "one who knows" firsthand, Friendship Springs and Dr. Cutchin are at the top.

This will be my lifetime veterinarian, no doubt. Everytime I walk in, they know me and they know my pets. The staff members are warm and very friendly, and also very knowledgable. Dr. Cutchin takes his time to sit with me and my pet and explain even the smallest things, answering all my questions and giving me more understanding about what these vets do! It made me so happy to not be told what to do, but rather why to do. I enjoyed my very first veterinary educated decision with Dr. Cutchin. They are not shy to show you around at any time. It made my skittish dog feel more at home and ease to see the unknowns behind the doors, rather than worry herself about them. Or maybe it was the staff's attention that calmed her down.. either way, we will most definitely return with each and every one of our animals.

A few months ago, we brought our 16 year old cat to see Dr. Cutchin. She was losing weight, and had very little energy. We were a little unsure about taking her to a new business, but it was close to home and after we found out that Dr. Cutchin came from a cat specialty clinic, we felt our little Tigger was in good hands. The staff was great at answering our many questions and returning our many phone calls. They even stayed late in the office to make sure she was adjusting to a new treatment. Unfortunately, we lost our little kitty. But not before Dr. Cutchin tried everything next to surgery to help her get better. After she passed, we recieved a wonderful Tiger Lilly (which we call a "Tigger" Lilly, after our lost pet) and a donation was made in her name to a local animal foundation. An extrememly caring staff, and knowledgable doctor. Highly recommended. We will continue to take all of our pets to this office.
