I moved to Friendship after extraordinary expensive incompetence at another Norfolk Vet--with the resulting demise of my beloved Lab. Our new puppy was cryptorchid and his neutering surgery was complicated and long. Dr. Braun and staff provided two post op exams at no charge and did not charge for removing his stitches. The other vet would have charged for every "complication". Friendship helped me contain the cost of an abdominal neutering surgery. They gave me simple but effective healing suggestions in addition to required pharma treatments. Friendship made the best of a bad situation. I would highly recommend them.

Former vet was rude, overcharged, & didn't care about my pets. Transferred to Friendship Vet 2 years ago, and very glad I did. Dr. Manning & staff are caring & kind. Friendly neighborhood vet with very reasonable charges.

I've been with Friendship for years, and why I haven't switched Vets until now is beyond me. The positives: The staff does get to know your pets-they have sent sympathy cards twice when pets have died. Some of their vets are excellent and others stink. Negatives: Have dealt with rude/curt service from receptionists and vet techs on numerous occasions. They are a volume business and don't even recommend basics, such as geriatric screening. They are expensive.
