My 'best friend' has been visiting Furry Friends for about 2 years now and he still gets excited when he hears their name. He jumps out of the car, they greet him by name and has never had an issue with any of the other attendees. There is a core staff that know the pets and that is nice. I have a great dog and they love him as much as he loves them. Nice fit!

Picked up our dog recently from boarding. Was told that she did great during her stay. When home, she cowered, cried & was afraid when disciplined. This was a shock. Talked with manager next day, who was defensive and angry from the start. He did not even ask if our dog was hurt or ill. He immediately said our dog was difficult and went into an explanation of her behavior over the last 6 months. His comments about our dog displaying negative behavior were completely new to us. He seemed to turn the situation around on our dog out of guilt and justification. The manager said he would have a meeting with the staff, yet we never heard back about it. Also talked with the owner, who was concerned, surprised and wanted to assure us that her facility would not tolerate abuse of animals. Unfortunately, she believes her manager over the customer and it is our word against his. The manager retracted what he said about our dog being aggressive when the owner was in the room. He said we misunderstood what he said to us, and again was defensive and angry. We cannot prove abuse, but believe in our hearts that when someone is that defensive, there is something to hide. Be very cautious!

When I moved to Smyrna in March, I was very nervous about leaving my "child" with someone else. Furry Friends was the second place I left her because it was close to home. They were very nice, but when I picked her up on Sunday her cage had not been cleaned out and she had used the bathroom in her bed.

Furry Friends is always so happy to see our cat. They treat him like he's a member of their family, no matter who is working that day. The kitty area is clean and the cages are so much larger than they are at other kennels. We wouldn't take our cat anywhere else.

My canine "kids" love it here!! They have been regulars since March 2004. When I drop them off they can't wait to get in the door (which is a great sign!). They get plenty of attention and exercise, and I have peace of mind in knowing the kennel is staffed 24/7. The only downside is that you have to go elsewhere for grooming services.

My dog loves to go the Furry Friends. They staff is great and very attentive. We take her to Doggie Day Care when the cleaning people come. She is happy to go and happy to come home and go to sleep!

When I first moved to Smyrna, I initially boarded my dogs with our vet. A friend of ours told us about this place and we decided to give it a go. My dogs absolutely love coming to Furry Friends and love the people who work there. It's a bit pricey at times, but well worth the care.

When going out of town, we needed a place to take our two furry members of the family. We used to drive to Alpahretta to board our dogs. Just boarding the dogs was a trip in itself. Furry Friends Academy is convenient to Vinings, Marietta, Smyrna, Austell and Mableton. The personnel are friendly, informative and on the job 24/7. FFA is clean with a great play space inside and out. I recommend FFA for kitties, too. The cats have their own glassed-in space and I think they feel lofty as they peer at the dogs through the glass from their perches!
