1st time using the grooming services. The people were not very friendly or knowledgeable about the services offered or the price. My dog looks horrible but beyond looking terrible is the fact that she looks like she was in a fight with the razor. She has nicks and cuts all over her body. Around her eyes are so swollen from the cuts she can hardly see. I will not visit this facility ever again!!!

I have a very high-energy lab mix, and she LOVES it here!! She goes crazy when we pull into the parking lot. When we pick her up, she is always clean, happy and obviously well exercised. She is pretty sensitive to stress, so I was worried about signs of anxiety, but it's never been a problem. Her reaction to the staff makes it clear that she is treated kindly. I highly recommend Furry Friends.

My dog stayed in the kennel for 2 weeks while I was on vacation. When I picked him up, I noticed he drank an usually large amount of water and couldn't contol his bladder. He basically peed every hour, many times in the house. He was house broken and never had an accident before. I took him to the vet and found out he got infected in the kennel (urinary tract infection). The kennel is petty dirty and smells bad. I would NEVER take my dog back there. And I do not recommend anyone to bring their be-loved dogs to this kennel, if you don't want your dogs to get sick!

My dog Dixie had been boarded at Furry Friends for a months this year. The staff was absolutely incredible! They did everything in their power to make sure Dixie (and I) were cared for. I went to visit dixie throughout the months that she was there, and i was ALWAYS welcome by the staff. They were always extremely nice to me, and took SUCH FANTASTIC care of my dog. I would definitely recommend you board your dog at Furry Friends. They will always by my place of choice to board my dogs and even just some playtime/play days. Thank you again everyone at Furry Friends for taking care of my baby Dixie. -Rachel

We've just returned from a week of international travel/vacation, and we put our dog up in a suite at the Furry Friends Lodge while we were away. We've used the services of Furry Friends Lodge in years past with great results, and this time was no different. The staff was great, and they went out of their way to ensure that not only was our beloved pet well taken care of but that our travel schedule wasn't an issue either. Our flight times were such that we had to do an early dropoff and a late pickup, and the staff was more than accomodating. Upon our (late) return we were warmly greeted by the staff as well as a VERY happy, healthy, and excited pet, and the price was even less than we were expecting for a 7 night stay. We gladly recommend the Furry Friends Lodge for anyone needing pet boarding services.

After my fiance and I needed to both leave town suddenly, we decided to take our dog Lucy to Furry Friends. Unbeknownst to us, Lu was overdue for her vaccine. The staff at Furry Friends went WAY out of their way to contact my vet, arranged to take her for her vaccinations during off hours, and make sure she was healthy and well taken care of. I have hesitations leaving our dog due to the fact that she was a severely abused which resulted in her being very and skiddish and shy. Although I was out of town, the staff called me to reassure that Lucy was doing fine when taking her to the vet and to tell me how much they liked her, etc. They were a life saver and the customer service was phenomenal. We will be taking her back every time we need to board her. Prices are extremely reasonable and when I went to pick her up I had a freshly bathed and happy dog waiting for me.

I have boarded my dog jew jew there several times, every time has been a pleasure. He has come back in good sprits and with a clean bill of health. i have read some of the reviews left by other customers, and in my opioin as to the kennel cough, sounds to me that that owner didn't have their dog vaccinated. If you can't pay your bill don't board your dog. They do offer bath's for dogs and other services. so if you didn't want the bath before the dog left, that is kinda your problem. don't blame furry friends. I would gladly board jew jew again at furry friends and feel good about leaving him at their faclity.

My boxer has gone there for almost three years and her sister has started to come with her just in the past year and a half. Tim, the manager, is the sweetest man. He always works with us with time and many other things. It breaks my heart that my girls aven't been going as much, but when they do go, they are super stoked! I would not trade this place for the world. The staff is awesome, especially Beth. I just love going somewhere that they remember my name as well as my pets names! I will and have recommended this pkace to many many of my friends and co workers! Thanks Tim and all the Furry Friends Family for making my little family feel so welcome.

Over the last year 2006 - 2007 the service has declined. Usually we kennel 3 dogs during vacation 7-9 days. Last year, two dogs returned with mild kennel cough and we lost one blanket. This year. One dog returned with a more serious case. Either they are accepting un-vaccinated dogs or are not doing a good job cleaning in our opinion. They also were unable to locate one of the blankets claiming it was in the wash. We believe it was in the wash, one of the blankets returned to us was urine soaked. Our dogs can hold their urine well past 8 hours which tells us they are either under staffed or getting lazy and the dogs are staying in runs to long. I train bird dogs and it seems to me the staff knowledge has deteriorated. It's my opinion, some of the staff there do not have any knowledge, even in basic obedience or dog behavior which should be a requirement of someone watching your dog professionally. After the most recent visit, we spoke to the manger Tim about it and he was defensive. He said nothing about the missing blanket, nothing about the urine soaked blanket, and tried to claim the kennel cough was contracted leaving the facility. He was only willing to discount $50 dollars off a bill of $550.00. That did not even cover the vet cost for the kennel cough. This is unfortunate as we felt the first visit was a success. People haveing bad experiences should send there concerns to the owner Greg Petters address is on the Secretary of State website.

I've left my 2 dogs here multiple times. The last two times they both were returned to me reeking and appeared to be very anxious, which is unusual for them. I've completed two surveys about their (lack of) service and gotten no response from the mgmt.

I have taken my three dogs (now two) to Furry Friends for two years. They seem to truly enjoy their stays and eagerly run into the office. To the people complaining about the smell, it is a kennel. My dogs smell bad when they come home but that always happens at any kennel I've been associated with. If you don't like the way they smell, have them bathed!!! The prices are reasonable so I'll still go there.

I drive all the way from Roswell to drop off my pet at Furry Friends. Sometimes, I miss the pick up time of 6pm, but Tim always accomodates me. He has even given me his cell phone number and I called on a Sunday. He knew my dog does not do well for long periods of time without me and he met me at the center and opened up especially for me. Tim is the most caring person I know. He treats my dog like his own.

I have done extensive research on pet day care services and I have never come across a more caring and supportive staff. My dog is treated like royalty from the moment he arrives on the premises. I am greeted by at least three staff members who know my dog by name, favorite toy and a list of furry friend guest that my Winston has a choice of playing with. Winston was hit by a car in March and the entire staff rallied to my support to find out how Furry Friends could help me and Winston during my time of need. They called daily and when Winston was ready to have "supervised" play time, they worked with me to get Winston back to his old self. They care about my dog and listen to my concerns: Winston goes to Furry Friends once a month for grooming and at least twice a week for day care. My dog is not yet neutered and they work with me to insure Winston gets ample play time but is also supervised with the other dogs. The entire staff is responsive to my dog's personality: Winston does not do a cage very well, and he is very passive. They know him well enough to determine if he is having a good day or not, or if he is not himself and requires more attention. Yes, Furry Friends is not a fancy spa with acres of land, but it has heart and I refuse to take my Winnie anywhere else. Faith Berger

We visited Furry Friends for a 1 night stay as a trial run prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. When I picked up my dog he seemed in great spirits. I wasn't very impressed with the staff, but was please with his overall demeanor. However, once we got him in the car we noticed that he smelled as though he had been rolling in his own filth. We had to bathe the dog before even allowing him into the house. To make matters worse, when I took his toys out of the bag they were returned in, I found them covered in feces.... I called the following day to ask why he was returned in that condition and was told "they must not have had time to clean up after him"... not very reassuring. We will not be returning for a longer stay.

Took our golden retriever for daycare and had concerns as to the outside time he was receiving based on a visit the week before. Based on their promotional material, daycare is supposed to be that dogs are outside in mornings, back in around 11:30 for rest in crates, and then back outside. Dropped off our dog, at 8:30am, and parked across the street to observe. As of 11:30am, our dog had not yet been taken out to join the other 4 dogs in the play area. Went back to the check in office, asked manager about my observations, and he couldn't give me a straight answer. Took my dog and went home and will not go back. We have used this facility for the past year and had good experience in both boarding and day care, but managers and staff change regularly.
