I took my car in for a muffler. They agreed, the car needed a rear muffler and indicated I needed to set up an appointment. We agreed on a date and time. I brought my car in at the appointed time and I was told they didn't have the muffler and that it would have to be ordered and should be in the next day. No problem. I can live with a little miscommunication, I called the next day (because they never called me back) and left a message asking if they could please let me know if/when I should plan to bring my car in. Three days later, they call and indicate my muffler is in. I said I'll be right over. I show up and they proceed to tell me they have the wrong muffler. We're done! I have wasted enough of my time and gas. G & S does not deserve to be in business.

I had my timing belt changed and it was done incorrectly. I took it back and they gave me a clean bill of health. I took it to another mechanic and they diagnosed it with a timing belt issue. G&S did not want to honor their warranty but eventually admited they were wrong and paid the other place to fix my vehicle.

I had a quote from G & S of $600.00 for bushings for the front wheels. When I called to ask if my car was done and what was the final total, they it was $52.95! I thought they had the wrong car. They informed me that after driving it and looking at it again, that all it needed was an alignment. They are honest and trustworthy.

The folks at G&S are among the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Honest, reliable and reasonable. The mechanic even stayed late once so I could have my car the next day. I highly recommend G&S Auto to anyone looking for excellent car service.

Do NOT use them. My car sat outside ready for me to pay for 30 minutes. While one of three men behind the counter uncomfortably flirted with a customer. The other two just sat there and awkwardly watched instead of taking initiative and helping their numerous waiting customers. This shop clearly does not care about it's customers. While I was there unnecessarily waiting, I heard them turn away 5 customers on the phone stating "They were overbooked for the day." Meanwhile all of the auto techs just sat around inside doing nothing. The worst part was that I went in for an alignment and when I left my car still pulled to the right. Take my advice and do not fall for their cheap rates. I would have much rather have paid more for any kind of customer service and decent quality work.

I purchased an aftermarket muffler and had quality problems with the product twice. However, G&S resolved the issues quickly and to my satisfaction each time. I will return to G&S for future work when the need arises.

After reading the great reviews, I brought my car in for a vacuum leak. 1 week and $750.later, I picked up my car and I have a bad bearing knock because they let antifreeze get into the oil after changing a lower intake manifold gasket and did not change the oil, This caused the bearings in the engine to become destroyed. They claim they did change the oil but there was antifreeze in the oil. I then change the oil and no more antifreeze got into the oil. By then it was too late the engine had a bad bearing knock. They refused to repair the engine or replace it or offer me a refund. If you value your car did not bring it to G&S muffler.

Terry and the team at G&S are simply awesome. Having moved to Woodstock in 2008, I did not have a relationship with a local mechanic. After several recommendations, I took my car in for brakes. Terry told me I didn't need brakes yet. When I did, G&S did a great job at a fair price. Highly recommend!

I have taken my vehicle to G&S on two ocassions. The first was a brake job and the second was a blown out spark plug requiring removing the manifold, drilling out the block and installing a shunt. Both times I left with a smile on my face because I felt they did a great job at half the price that I was expecting. No question. Kevin and the guys at G&S are my mechanics from now on.

We have been taking our vehicles to G and S for years now. They are the ONLY ones we trust. They are honest and trustworthy-a rare commodity in the auto repair business. I can't count the times they told us up front-you don't need this done yet-or other such things. What they do is fix what needs to be fixed and do a good job of it. What they don't do is rip you off. Terry and the guys are the only ones I would trust!

I found these guys on Kudzu, and chose them because of their great ratings. I am extremely happy with the work they did on my vehicle, and can't believe how inexpensive it was and how quickly they were able to do so. I have been ripped off in the past by mechanics, and it is truly refreshing to find some honest ones! I will definitely recommend them and use them again!
