After wasting much time and money taking my Toyota Avalon for repairs at dealers, I was left much poorer with the same check engine light problem. My last resort before selling the car out of sheer frustration was to take the car to Gann-El. For less than $170 they permanently fixed the problem! More recently, the Avalon needed body work. Greg Herman honestly appraised what needed to be done and then did a terrific job. The car looks great!

The story of my 99 Nissan Van is long and too twisted to go into...but does involve several mechinics and lots of money. When it failed emissions, I was told to replace it, easier said than done. Came across Gann-el Auto Repair on Craigs list for a Honda Odyssey. I was very impressed with them during the phone conversation and later I stopped by to "look" at the Honda van. Greg came over and asked my "problem". When I started to explain that my van failed emissions, he waved me asside and insisted that he would fix it. And he did. It turns out that much of the work previously paid for was not well done or not done at all, which of course is why the problems never got fully solved.
Now thanks to Greg and the crew at Gann-el auto repair, for the first time in a year, my van is running smoothly and the check engine light not blinking at me. And it just passed emissions inspection. Can't thank them enough.

Wonderful, honest people who fixed my 10 year old car that had previously been to 2 dealers, Pep Boys, and another mechanic. Superb! Staff even insisted on taking me home (a half hour drive) while they had the car for the day and DELIVERED the car when finished, refusing any extra money. WONDERFUL

Greg is a great mechanic. He knows what's wrong, how to fix it, and doesn't try to rip you off. a real person he'll level with you and tell you what you need done, and what you don't.
