My spring broke on my wooden garage door on 6/24/2014. Called several companies and then talked with Jason at Garage Door Services. Nolan came out the next day on 6/27/2014 and installed my new steel door. Nolan did a great job and installed quicker than I expected. Family owned company & I have recommended to a friend who used their services. Very pleased with overall experience.

Received prompt call back minutes after I left initial message requesting service for spring repair. Came out the next morning (after I told them I was not in an emergency situation with a car trapped - I got the impression they would come out that same day if I had needed it). Service techs were friendly and quick, and price was fair. I definitely recommend this company.

We had a large crack in our old door. I suspected we'd need to replace it. Nolan quoted us a good price, matched our other door, fixed an existing problem that had always hindered operation, and had the new one installed the next day. Great experience and we'd use them again.

After looking at various reviews on Kudzu, called couple of companies on a Sunday afternoon, as my garage door decided to quit on me after 15 years. These guys have responded within minutes, and came to our house the very next day, and fixed it. Since my garage door was from the last generation, they provided me with various options for a reasonable price. Thanks, Sam.

I always suspect people post their own positive reviews but... I called around 8:30, they set a time window that day, called within the window, and were waiting for me early. Nolan got out of the truck shook my hand, took about 10 seconds to diagnose my 20 year old garage door opener to need a gear and offered a tuneup at a good price. He said it would take him 1 hour and 15 minutes. 1 hour later he was done and i don't think that garage door sounded THAT smooth when it was brand new!... good deal and telling my friends... TY nolan

We have only been in our house for a year and a half and our carriage broke on our garage, after calling the company that originally installed the garage door, they told me it would not be covered under warranty and they would charge $55 for labor if I could get the parts, then they called me back and stated that their rep could get the parts but it would have to be a whole new carriage AND rod and that they would now have to charge $95 for the extra work! I did a little research and decided to give Garage Door Services a call and I'm GLAD I did! After speaking with Nolan he advised me that Genie would replace the parts and have them shipped to me and he would come by and fix it! He didn't try to sell me parts that I could get at no charge or parts that I didn't need! The price he quoted us was less than the other company! Nolan was very professional and had my garage fixed in less than 30 minutes!!!! I will be using Garage Door Services again and again! Thanks Nolan!

I thought I needed 2 new garage door openers but I only needed one and a minor repair to the other. Very honest saving me money where other businesses would just have charged me for 2 new openers. They will definitely get repeat business from me and all my friends and family. Garage Door Services prices are the same as Home Depot but you won't get service like this. It's refreshing doing business with people who care about their reputation and customers! They have many wonderful reviews because they earn it!

We have an older garage door and the cable broke this weekend. We couldn't get the door opened. We called Garage Door Services, Inc on a Sunday and they called back early on Monday morning. Nolan came out and repaired the door. I asked him about a new motor. He told me the price but did not pressure me to buy it then. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Door stuck sent a tech fixed, need new door need different tech, fixed. Door wont shut, different tech. He says I have cheap rollers he can change for $80, I say but its the rollers you guys installed. Tries to sell me NEW opener $500, but my opener is working it just won't stop. He has no idea how to fix and says he would rather sell me NEW opener. Go to internet and buy part and fix myself for $15.99. They are after selling not customer friendly. Other things happened but no room to explain--Do Not Use.

Can you please tell me who your tech was? Reason I ask is we do not sell rollers for $80.00 and we do not have any of our openers for $500.00. We only send 2 guys out to homes. There is another company that is advertising on a flyer with our name and when you call it goes to a call center. Our attorney is currently working to get this resolved. I am wondering if this might be the company you used.
One of my extension springs had broken & opening/closing my garage door had become difficult. I called Garage Door Services & received same day service! Both springs were replaced & the door was adjusted within 30 min! Great Service & a fair price! Will recommend to my friends.

Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate your business.
My garage door would only open halfway. I found this company on Kudzu and contacted them in the morning, and got an appointment the same day at 3pm. They also said the technician would call 30 minutes ahead, which was very convenient since I was still at work. The technician that showed up was Nolan, who quickly diagnosed the issue and had to replace some nylon gears for the garage door opener and perform a tune-up. Fortunately, their company stocks common parts in their truck, so there was no delay! Nolan was fast, professional and very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this company and definitely use them again!

Thank you very much for the great review.
Right Torsion Spring on Garage Door broke New Years Day. I was going to attempt to DIY after looking at YouTube video. The springs cost over $120 online and have to be shipped, plus $10 for the tension rods. I Googled the cost of doing the work. People said that they were paying $200-240. I found Garage Door Services on Kudzu. I called them at 2pm. They quoted a good fair price, lower than what I expected. Nolan showed up at 3pm. He noticed that the broken right spring was smaller than the left spring. It appeared that the Builder cut corners when they installed the garage door 7 years ago. Nolan brought two identically sized springs that were beefier than the original. He was fast and knew what he was doing. He had it done in under an hour. He sprayed lubricant on the new springs, tightened the belt tension, and re-adjusted the upper and lower limits of the garage door opener. Nolan was very professional and took pride in his work and in representing the family run business. It is family run with his father and brother. I paid Nolan for his work, which was the quoted price. I told Nolan that I would recommend him to anybody in our subdivision. Thanks Nolan. BTW, I had called three other Garage Door repair vendors. All of them answered with voicemail. I left them a message. None of them called back. One of them authored the DIY YouTube video.

Thank you for the business. We really appreciate it.
Garage Door Services came out last year (around spring time) to put new springs on my door. I started having problems this past week with the door stopping as it was opening. It turns out (I got other garage door guys to come out) the springs are too small for the weight of the door. This could have damaged my ceiling unit. Very disappointed. I had also called them late last year to come out and take a look at a garage door that was not opening properly on a rental unit. Made us wait the whole afternoon. After repeated calls on my part, they tell us they won't have time to come out that day. The person I spoke with became a bit rude when I told him I was disappointed that I wasted an entire afternoon waiting for them. Will not be using them again.

I noticed this was just updated, can you tell me who you talked to? Reason I ask, there is another company using our name and we have been told several times that they are rude, etc. We never put springs on that are too small so it sounds like you could have been taken advantage of. Typically if the door doesn't go all the way down its an issue with safety eyes. If your springs were broke or whatever then you would not be able to lift the door. (In most cases) perhaps you can tell me what number you called....
I recently had a Garage Door Spring break and called Garage Door Services. Nolan was the representative that made the service call. He was very friendly and provided excellent customer service by providing me a detailed explanation of the problem, and how long it would take to fix. After his repair work my garage door had a new Spring and opened and closed quieter than I've ever heard it. Couldn't be more happy. From calling to set and appointment everyone I interacted with at Garage Door Services was super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommend!

They do what they say they are going to do for the price they quote - Amazing service - which is hard to find these days - do not take advantage of the urgency like the others do - Would not think of calling any other garage door company - these are the ones to call - PERIOD
