Here are a couple of incidents: 1) When my wife was pregnant we use to go to their group of doctors. One day we called her for nerve pain and she told we need to go to physiotherapist. Fortuanately we had regular appointment within few days with another doctor in their group and we spoke to him about pain and he simply told don't worry pain will go and it is common. 2)Another incident my wife had serious pain close to bladder(because she had cyst) this is after pregnancy and suddenly we went to them.Unfortunately Meera Garcia was there and we waited around an hour and she did not even come she sent a nurse practitioner(as we have no appointment) and told us to go to emergency. We joined emergency and they gave pain killers and the pain subsided.Meera Garcia told she will come but nope did not turn up and when emergency doctor called her she told to discharge. This is the surprise next day we got a call and asked why did you'll leave we need to do surgery. We told doctor released us with Meera Garcias consent.I thought enough and went to another doctor and we were fortunate. I have friends who go to that group and everyone has same opinion.I am ready to come and answer any questions because i know how much we suffered and missed a bullet.

Dr. Garcia has a good bedside manner, but the moment that you start asking her questions about medications that she prescribes is when you realize that she gets uncomfortable with active, educated patients. She does not want you questioning her decisions, but simply do what she tells you to do without adressing your concerns. If you are an active and educated patient that asks questions and want answers, I would rather go and see another doctor.

A friend highly recommended Dr. Garcia to me because of my issues with fibroids. The first thing that struck me about Dr. Garcia was her warm smile and caring disposition. It felt like I was talking to a friend. I am so use to feeling rushed and like I'm just another face when dealing with Doctors and she was a breath of fresh air. She was thorough taking time to ask questions and discuss my many options. That whole staff is kind and supportive. I knew Dr. Garcia was excellent when my friend said she called her from vacation (the beach) after her surgery. My friend actually heard her children playing in the background. Dr. Garcia is simply the best!!

I have seen Dr. Garcia for my last 2 pregnancies (unfortunately both miscarriages). She has a wonderful bedside manner and is very knowledgeable and caring. Both times, she went out of her way to fit me in for an immediate D&C and personally called me to follow up after surgery and lab results (probably the first time a doctor has actually called me). We are currently seeing a specialist for our fertility problems, but Dr. Garcia (and the entire North Atlanta OB/GYN group) will always be my regular doctors.

I've been seeing Dr. Garcia for close to 10 years but recently had to see another doctor because of my insurance. After my experience, I will definitely be heading back to Dr. Garcia (and paying out of pocket if I have to) because of her exceptional bedside manner. She has always made me feel comfortable, reassured me when needed, and addressed all of my health concerns and questions. She also has an elite medical education and stays on top of the latest treatments and medications. If you're looking for an ob/gyn for life, try Dr. Garcia's office.

Dr. Garcia is a smart, sweet woman and has a great bedside manner. She talks to you like you are a friend, rather than a patient. I saw her thoughtout my pregnancy and she was very helpful.
