Dr. Siegel is the finest doctor I have ever known. I have been his patient for 15 years and drive 70 miles each way to see him. He has delivered my two children and performed many necessary surgeries. He takes the time to answer my endless questions while patiently educating me about my health issues. We work together to make the best decisions regarding my health. Based on his knowledge and experience I ultimately leave final decisions to him and I have never regretted doing so. On more than one occasion he has flatly said this is the safest way to go for you and your child, I have never doubted his judgement. His bedside manner is second to none; he never fails to make me laugh and feel comfortable. I trust him with my life and the lives of my family. Dr. Siegel is an outstanding physician and a fine gentleman!

I was under midwifery care at his practice but had a high risk factor that I was very well informed about. I had to see him throughout the rest of the pregnancy along w/ the midwife and he invariably left me in tears. I simply wanted to ask questions about why he wanted me to do certain things (the questions I had were based on information I had found in current studies). He quickly made sure I understood that he was the doctor and I was expected not to question him. If you are ok w/ just going along w/ what the dr says and don't want to question, he's as nice as he can be. In defense of him, I do think he reacts more so to the midwifery patients than to his own. I just don't like being treated like I don't have a brain. He is a well-respected surgeon.
