Dr Pribyl is the best vet in Las Vegas. My 2.5 pound teacup chihuahua developed a fatal condion if not operated on immediatly would have died. Dr Pribyl did a great job with the operation and she is as healthy as ever. My other two small teacup chi's needed to be spayed as well and had various problems and he did a great job. Considering there size I was concerned about surgeries but they all turned out great. He gives you all the information and you make the decisions. Everyone is very friendly including the office staff. If I moved I would consider flying back to have him work on my dogs, I dont trust just anyone with them. I just hope he does not retire anytime soon!

We've taken two of our German Shepherds to Gentle Doctor and really like them. Our dog has allergies and Dr. Pribyl is very knowledgeable on that subject. Also, when doing a teeth cleaning on our newly rescued dog, they discovered serious problems, alerted us to them and recommended a couple of dental vets in town. Recently we boarded our dog for the week and he had a great time, even got a wonderful complimentary bath (and still smells good!). So he loves the Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital and so do we. Be sure to double check prices, though, first, so you understand the cost of the services you are requesting.

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother. She is on a fixed income and my stepfather is very ill with Parkinsons. His medication is very costly and Gentle Doctor hurt them by over-charging so badly. When we brought the issue to their attention, they failed to care at all. She took her rescued male cat to this place for neutering and standard shots. They charge 3 TIMES the "going" rate for this procedure - $443 instead of $146. The fail to disclose the pricing up front. In order to get her cat, she had to pay it. In fact, she was only given paper when she asked why the charge was so high when she went to pick up Lukey; it is written in medical terms that are not understandable; the receptionist refused to discuss any of the charges. They charged her for a leukemia shot after she declined it. And, they cut Lukey's nails, which my mother also declined. In my opinion, they are not to be trusted.

Dr. Pribyl and the staff at Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital have been a part of my and my pets' life for over 20 years. Compassion, attentiveness to detail, a high level of knowledge and warm welcomes at each visit is their number one priority. You can't find better care for your pet in the Vegas Valley.

The best vet and staff in Vegas! I met the vets and staff when I was housesitting my sister's cats before I moved to Vegas. One got really sick while they were out of the country. Needless to say I was freaked out and it was Sunday and I didn't know what to do! They were very helpful and accomodating and knew the cat by sight! I even boarded the poor cat during the day while I had to work so they could do the hard job of shoving the meds down him. Since I've moved to Vegas I take both of my cats to this place. I live in Centenial Hills and sadly make my cats suffer the drive down 95 to Rainbow. It's not THAT far - but I wouldn't go anywhere else! Value is relative - I gave them a 5 - worth every penny!

I have had many vets over the years but until I met Dr Strobeck at Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital I had no idea how caring a vet could be. Over 10 years he has helped my family through my then 14 year old cat's FIV, he provided extra care and actual HIV Drugs so that my cat could live a happy healthy and pain free 3 more years. He then helped us through our loss when we had to put down our 17year old cat and a year later our 13year old Australian Shepard. Dr. Strobeck and every one at Gentle Doctor Animal hospital were more understanding and caring then any one else we knew. Now Dr. Strobeck takes care of our newest babies a 1 ½ year old Australian Shepard and our 3 and 4 year old cats. As for Dr Sulliban, although he is not our primary vet he has provided care for our babies over the last 10 years and he has proven to be just as caring and talented as Dr. Strobeck. If your animals are more then just pets, and you want to provide them with the best care, from vets that understand what your babies mean to you. Then you should try the wonderful people and the amazing vets at Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital. They have always treated me and my babies like family I'm sure they will treat you and yours the same way.

Dr Jason Sulliban is expert in exotics, including avians. Even though I finally lost my precious bird after 22+ years, I can say nothing but the most favorable about the treatment we received over the years from the staff and Dr. Much compassion in front office. Calls at home to follow up on care were always a surprise to me in this often crass business community. I kept the poem and card signed by all staff at the time of my pet's passing.
