I dealt with Vince. Vince comes across as a genuine, polite, professional, old-school southern fella. The kind of guy who believes in an honest days pay for an honest days work. So, he's exactly the type of guy you want to hire. When he's at your house, he's there to work not socialize. He's also an expert in all things vacuum and at installation. Very wise and experienced. For instance, I thought I needed two inlets on each floor, but it turns out I only needed one. Instead of just eyeballin' it and saying, "yeah, looks like you're right", we measured everything and he saved me $300!!! And I was ready to just go ahead with the extra inlets. There is, however, one area where he could use some improvement. And that is in the communication and office management area. He's not the best with getting back via email or phone, doesnt text and can't access his schedule while on the road. So, while I had to be persistent to get him to come out and have him come back out again to bring me a hose and finish two inlets, he eventually does get back to you and is true to his word. Bottom line: the communication issues are part of him being such a small operation and he's worth the hassle in every way. I will recommend him to everyone who needs his services. I wish more contractors behaved like Vince. Just a great guy and great at what he does.

Over the many years we have been building and remodeling, we have had lots of experiences with professionals and suppliers. None have been as good as Vince and John at Georgia Central Vacuum. They are straightforward, honest, competent, courteous and very reasonably priced. It was a pleasure to observe the quality of their work and to be treated the way a customer should be, but seldom is. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We recently had a Beam Central Vac installed in our home. (We'd had one in our previous home and loved it.) We already knew that the product is a great one, but were really glad to have the opportunity to work with Vince in installing our new system. He, and the other installer, were VERY professional and thorough; we couldn't have been more pleased. We highly recommend the Beam Central Vac, and Georgia Central Vac to do the install.

I was in need of a new central vacuum for my home. I tried to fix my old one but the company that had come out to service it told me that I should replace my old one with their brand at a cost of $1200. Needless to say, I didn't go with them but did my research. I also asked someone who works in home renovations and they recommended Georgia Central Vacuum. There are many and I mean many types and brands out on the market. I was totally overwhelmed with the information I was reading. The owner explained to me what was everything. I told him I wanted to think and research some more about what I was purchasing but I also wanted to make sure I got the best machine for the money. Several hours later he called me back and told me that he thought the model before the one he told me about would probably work great for my house and I would save $200! To make a long story short, 2 days later he installed the vacuum. We love it. It is so strong and we are SO pleased with the purchase of the Astro Vac SR14. Never heard of the brand but we are very pleased and believe that if we ever had a problem with it, Georgia Central Vac would be at our door in no time flat. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

If you don't own a central vacuum and can afford to buy one... DO IT! It's as life changing as an answering machine, DVR or TiVo. That being said, if you're going to buy one, buy it from Georgia Central Vacuum. We bought a 10 year-old house that already had the requisite pipes & outlets installed and called Georgia Central Vacuum. The owner came out, gave us an estimate and arrived at the appointed time to install what was supposed to be a simple installation. As with most "simple" installations, it turned out that it was missing about 8 of the pipe runs to the unit's location and it took him all day to get it up and running. I was expecting a significant increase in the bill, but, the owner refused to take additional money because he stood by his estimate. I was shocked. It's not often that you run into that kind of integrity anywhere. The system has been working perfectly for over 6 months and I'm very pleased. They install BEAM central vacuums, which I've used in three different houses over 20 years. I highly recommend the product and Georgia Central Vacuum.
