Georgia Medical Institute

I went to this school three years ago. I made all A's, everyone in the class looked to me for the answers. In the end, I had drawn blood ONE time, and I was supposed to be a pro?! In the end I came out with nothing but student loans to pay, $5,000.00 to be exact. I have young children, I thought I was bettering our future, but in the end I didn't get anywhere. Don't do what I did, be smart. Go to a real school or just go blow the money, if you go here that's what you'll do anyways.

The school rates low with atlanta employers, many will not interview Georgia Medical Institute past students.

My daughter signed up for pharmacy tech. night classes at GMI. First the school told her she had to enroll quickly because there were only two spaces left. Very high pressure. Calling her daily! Then the school raised the fee that was quoted when she went to sign up. The school was charging her over $11,000! Then, they called a week before classes were scheduled to begin to tell her that the scheduled night classes were cancelled due to enrollment issues. (Not enough people scheduled to take the classes. What happenend to only two spaces available?). She has called and cancelled her student loans and is currently waiting for a refund of her deposit that she gave to GMI. The director told her to expect the refund in 6 to 8 weeks.. Not a trustworthy school. Don't waste your money!!...
