I sent the office payment in full for a bill in December. I paid by using the final amount on my flexible spending card plus a check for the difference. The office never processed the card and by not doing so the funds were not used in the calendar year. Medcom then denied the claim, a situation caused by their office not processing the payment. (for those who do not know, all funds on these med cards are deposited by the owner...in this case me...but must be used within the calendar year). So, this money was lost to me even though I had followed their directions to submit payment. I made the office aware. They refused to take responsibility and I had to pay the bill again. I have been seeing this doctor for many years as has my family and we are leaving. While I am angry about the money, I am more upset that the company refused to take responsibility for their actions. So sad to see such poor customer service to loyal customers.
