In my opinion, Dr. Goel is guilty of patient neglect. He was my father's GI doctor for a period of 3 months, and during this time, my father was suffering from a bleeding duodenal ulcer. Dr. Goel did not give my father's ulcer problem much attention, and the problem escalated to such an extent that my father now needs 3 units of blood each week to survive. To make matters worse, my father has cancer and as long as the ulcer is actively bleeding, his oncologist cannot treat him with chemotherapy or any other type of cancer therapies. During the 3 months my father was under Dr. Goel's "mis-care", his cancer spread like a wild-fire throughout his entire gastrointestinal tract, including the stomach, lining of the peritoneal cavity, pancreas, intestines, liver, etc.
