I really like the gym itself. It is clean, spacious, and never overly packed. That is one of things I love about it, is that I don't have to wait for a machine. They also have nice equipment, its all fairly new and not all broken down and stuff. I have to say that one thing I don't like is probably the service of the trainers there. They don't really seem that they care about your workout. Everyone else is nice, but I don't like that, but for $25 bucks a month I guess I can't complain about it.

If only I could give this place a negative score!! The place is messy and always has a bad odor and the showers get pretty dirty, but the biggest complaint I have about this place (and the company as a whole) is that they are crooks. I signed up for personal training and signed a contract with a specific start, end date, number of sessions and total amount to be paid. The quality of the training itself was pretty bad, but they kept billing me beyond the total on the contract even though I repeatedly told them this was wrong. The local staff even agreed, but said they couldn't do anything about it. The local staff simply canceled my contract without a refund, which means I couldn't have used the extra sessions even if I had wanted too. I finally ended up speaking to some lady who was supposedly the head of their customer service for the local franchise/corporate office and I was told that the person who signed me up made a mistake on the contract and realized it after the fact and CHANGED THE CONTRACT AFTER I SIGNED IT and they didn't owe me a refund. This is called stealing!!! I battled with them for months over $300 in extra charges and it finally took a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get a refund...and even then they said they didn't owe it to me, but would do it in the spirit of customer service. Talk about scams!!! I would never ever do business with this or any other Gold's Gym.

Golds Gym is a pretty nice and clean place. they have all that facilities that you will need for doing exercise. Sauna is the best i think because you wil just sit in there and you sweat a lot. they decent price and you will really get satisfaction as long as you keep on doing your exercise atleast 4 times a week!

Frank Baltimore at the downtown location (peachtree street) hounded me via phone for days after we discussed my joining. THEN, when I stopped by to say I'd be working out of town, he said he was unable to refund my CASH payment of $25 (for a week's workout--paid but unused at the time of our initial conversation). It's been over a month, and poor Frank! He has no idea how many different ways he's sworn me off golds (my former club) for good!
