I signed up for services at this gym back in August. I asked about 5 times if they were sure I would not be under contract and the gentleman selling me the service said absolutely not. I noticed that the gym was becoming rather crowded recently and while that's great for the owner, I just don't like waiting on machines that often. So I decided to cancel membership. When I called ABC Financial they explained to me that I was under contract until October of 2011. This made absolutely no since to me because I was not supposed to be under any contract, and I'd signed up in August. ABC advised me to call the gym. I called the gym and spoke with general manager, Mike Palla. He then told me that I was not under contract and that I should call ABC back and tell them that he said so. This was not good enough for ABC and I understand that. So I called Mike back and he did not return my phone call.I called him this morning and he basically told me that I was not doing enough work to cancel the account. He berated me as if I were a child, telling me that he couldn't cancel the account for me and that it was my job to take care of it. But I can't take care of it without him contacting ABC The lack of professionalism involved with this experience is utterly ridiculous and has still not been resolved. Seriously, you'd be wise to go elsewhere where you might get some honesty.

Beware...if you decide to ask the General Manager a question about your contract, they may call the police on you!!! This is what Joshua Fountain and the Vice President(?) James did when my friend and I asked them what could we do if we wanted to change the terms to our contracts. Be careful!!!! Joshua (GM), is a snake; saying anything and everything to get you to sign up and at the last minute throw in surpises like making you commit to a 1-yr contract and extra fees for maintainance of the gym. They don't care about you, JUST YOUR MONEY!!!! They don't care to show you around the gym or tell you anything about it...he's just hungry to get someone else to sign up. He was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL using curse words and telling us to "get out of his gym" and then calling the police. The police didn't do anything because there was NEVER any issue to begin with. I've never been so humiliated!! When said to never come back to his gym, I was appalled!! I thought I was dreaming!! Was he upset that we could possibly cancel our contracts?!! Was it that seriuos! Don't I have the right as a consumer to change my mind?! I asked for my money back and to cancel our contracts and he said "go home and read the contract"-so rude!!! So be careful when you join this location, you may be stuck paying money to a gym with a jerk as the General Manager and his double jerk "boss" James!!!

Never have I had to deal with such dishonest and manipulating ppl before. They only want your money and are unwilling to take action if a mistake is made on their part. They cannot resolve any issues because none of them know whats going on in the first place. This place wreaks dispicability!! If I can save a few people from going to this gym everything that I've gone through will be worth it.

This place lacks good customer service since management is never available to address gym issues. You get the run around from one person to the next to try and resolve gym concerns. The womens dry sauna has been out of order for 3 years with no plans to replace or repair and some floor equipment was recently replaced after always being broken. Save your money, this place is not worth it.

Not for those that are playing at losing weight/getting in shape. This place is geared towards muscleheads for sure. Not my type of place but it was clean and the staff was friendly.
