We have used other cleaning companies in the past and been disappointed. I wanted to give another company a try and Gomes Cleaning worked with me to get a first appointment of the day (8am), so I could be home with my crazy dog. Jessica and Sylvio (husband and wife) are a great team. They do a very thorough job and are affable for any requests that we make. I only have to make a request once and they will do it every time after that. They are very sweet people and even brought us cookies and a card for Christmas. I would highly recommend them.

My wife is very picky about how someone cleans our house. I can say Gomes Cleaning has been outstanding even with my wifes high standards. They are very polite and efficent. They clean your home like they own it. Thank you for making my wife happy!!!

We interviewed 4 cleaning companies before finally choosing Gomes. We decided to give them a shot with a deep cleaning. WOW, this service is outstanding. We had only intended to use the service one time but now we are going to use the service on a bi-weekly basis. The attention to detail is outstanding. You will not be disappointed with this company!!

we used them for about 8 months last year and they were awesome - in November the people who were cleaning our home left and were replaced by new cleaners - we tried two other sets of cleaners - not good - not awful but not good either - we had to go over after they left and do the things they missed. Wish we could get our old crew back!!

It is unfortunate when we lose a crew. Not only do we lose the experience of those crews, we also end up losing some of their clients due to the familiarity that comes from having the same crew, every cleaning. We strive to keep our crews performing as uniformly as possible, yet unfortunately, no 2 crews will clean the same. We are always willing to make it right and will send the crew back to redo any work that is not up to the clients standards. We can also change the crew we send. Any quality issues will be addressed immediately and rectified to the best of our ability. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and any work that was not up to your standards. We will be holding a company-wide meeting to address this concern and implement new guidelines to ensure this does not happen in the future. We were moving out of our apt. into a house after six years and needed a deep clean handing it over. I planned on doing it myself but at 8 months pregnant it proved to be a much more daunting task that I anticipated. I called Gomez cleaning on Tuesday. They worked me in for a meeting and estimate on Wednesday morning and Thursday at 8:00 a.m., they were at my apt. to clean. They spent several hours deep cleaning and going over every inch of the house. They really did everything but steam clean the carpets (not part of their job anyway)! I met with the team for a post clean walk through and approval and was very pleased. Spotless1 I did not have to do anything before meeting with the leasing office for a walk through. I don't use cleaning services on a regular basis (this was actually my first experience and I admit-I was skeptical as a cleaning perfectionist); however, if I ever needed a deep clean again or assistance with my home, I would not hesitate to call Gomez Cleaning again. We've had Gomes serveral times and were completely satisfied. Recently, we had them to a deep clean and were left complete DISSATISFIED...mainly because of the floors and baseboards. I know for a fact that the baseboards were not wiped and the floors had several spots left. When management sent the crew back out, it was obvious that the crew did not agree that they should be redoing the floors. I'll kindly leave it at that.

We needed a deep clean (baseboards, windows, etc) and only one woman showed up. Took her over 8 hours to clean our 1900 sq ft home and she broke a couple of things. I felt bad for the cleaning lady, though. When the woman came out to give us our estimate I got a bad feeling (she wasn't exactly pleasant) so I should have gone with that. I overpaid for what I got. Won't use them again. RESPONSE to GOMES.. you came out 3/9/09 and it cost $250. The woman had an Eastern European accent and broke a picture frame and a makeup bottle. She mentioned that her cousin was supposed to come but was sick. I'm not your competition.. I live in Roswell and resent your attitude now as well.

This review is not valid. We would never send only one person for a deep cleaning of 1900 sq. ft. This is an attempt by our competitor to lower our reputation. We have had problems with this in the past, but Kudzu does nothing to prevent this. Please ignore this review.
i've been using these guys for years. great service. great prices. very responsive. i've moved twice and have continued to use them at each location. i definitely recommend Gomes Cleaning!

At first the quality of the cleaning was great with the same nice couple coming every 2 weeks. Then the quality went downhill. No consistency, bad customer service. There are MUCH better companies in ATL

We have had no cancellations in our schedules in the last 3 months and as such, we ask that this client please call the home office in order to get these claims resolved. We have not received any complaint calls as well, which is proper procedure when having any concern about our service. Please call our home office @ 404-454-5910 and we will work with you as best as possible to resolve any problems or concerns you might have. 04/12/2010 We would like to thank the client for calling and letting us know about his concerns for our service. As of 5/15/2009, he transferred to Amazon cleaning upon the resignation of the former Co-owner due to a business settlement. The former Co-owner was forced out due to unethical business practices. At that time, we were under no obligation to maintain his account in accordance with the settlement that was a result of legal action taken to remove the former co-owner from our company. Since his resignation, our services levels have improved dramatically in regards to customer service and quality. The competing company that received a 5 star rating by this client, received their training from the sole owner of Gomes Cleaning, Ivete Gomes, who trains every crew in accordance with strict quality guidelines. This review should be under Amazon cleaning, not Gomes Cleaning. We do have all of the documentation that verifies these findings. 07/05/2010
I had to file a bbb.org complaint on this company as well as contact my attorney. Company damaged ceramic floors using wrong chemicals and did not follow instructions to use my vacuums because I have Pulmonary Health issue. This merchant contaminated my home with other environment dirt, mold, dust mites and allergens. I'd recommend some other cleaning service - definitely stay away from this company. Company will not come back to home to strip the wax from ceramic floors and has threatened turn me over to 3rd party collection agents and consumer reporting agencies. In my opinion, this makes this company a looser. Like other clients...I, too, never received a follow up inspection or courtesy phone call regarding "how was the first cleaning". I never complimented to anyone that I "was satisfied". The phone call from Mr. Thompson, one week from the first cleaning was confrontational and to demand payment for service...never did Mr. Thompson follow up for the first cleaning one week prior nor did he care when he called me to demand payment one week later. In addition, Mr. Thompson's colleagues/maids would not accept my personal check the day they cleaned the home and ruined my ceramic floors. Mr. Thompson comments about money in the picture is absurd...his unprofessionalism not to follow up nor ask the customer about "how satisfied"...this company failed to remove the wax they used on my ceramic floors. This company definitely does not value customer.

This is an unfortunate review. After 2 weeks of trying to receive payment on services, a complaint was filed. This client had even complimented our crew on the floors, stating that they looked "great". Even after a phone call and email, still no complaint. Yet once payment was brought into the conversation, that is when the floors were damaged. These are the type of clients that business owners try to avoid, yet it happens on occasion. Any company will turn you over to 3rd party collections for non-payment. As per our previous reviews, we will always resolve any VALID complaint as quickly as possible to ensure customer satisfaction. This is not a valid complaint and should be taken as such. Our cleaners in return, received a $20.00 tip for such a "great job" in cash and a check was never offered. These complaints made by this client are untrue at best.
We have had several cleaning crews from other local companies. And, always had issues with them. Gomes Cleaning are always on time. They are pleasant to work with and they always clean our house extremely well.
