Reliable, honest service to date..., 11/06/2012

We've used this Goodyear location over the past year for service to an old truck needing a few minor, and a couple of major, repairs. As a result my husband has established a working relationship... with the store manager and their work has proved solid to date. They've met schedule and budget commitments and gone a little above and beyond what was expected more than once.

Beware of the the railroad technique.., 8/31/2011

Went to this Goodyear because I had a nail in the tire of my car. While I was waiting for someone to look at the tire, a technician came in to speak with a senior citizen about her oil change & tell... her all the additional services she would need on her car (54K miles) including changing the air filters (didn't look dirty) & transmission fluid. A few minutes later the same guy comes back in to tell me that he can't fix my tire and that I have to have a new one and that he doesn't have any in stock today but will call the warehouse. Fine. But when I told him I needed to make a phone call he just kept going and telling me that it had to be done and not until I emphatically stated that he needed to give me a minute for a phone call did he stop talking and leave the waiting room. I opted to take my car back to the dealer to see what they recommended since it was under 1 yr and I was not comfortable with how things were going. When I told this to the technician he again told went on a lengthy animated diatribe about how he couldn't fix it and no one else should either unless they are a shady mom & pop shop. I had to tell him to please stop talking and just give me my car back. NOT the type of experience that I expected. (The dealer concurred that the tire would have to be replaced but recommended using the full-size matching spare as the replacement and put a lower cost tire in as the spare.)

Best in town

They came in below the estimate, and hours earlier than I expected. This is an A+ auto shop, and I will be going there from now on.

Auto Repairs

Their prices are pretty much like Firestone - high. But their service is okay.

So Far, so good

I'm always looking for a trustworthy, reliable repair place. We've been to this goodyear location a couple of times and they seem to be very straightforward. Not super fast service but no worse than other places.
