My name is Charlotte and Dr. Gordon removed my cataracts a couple of years ago and inserted Toric Acrysof lens. Formerly my vision was -10.00. Now I have the vision of a hawk. Two weeks ago I was looking at the stars at 11pm on the top of a riverboat in the Ukraine. The only artificial light was from the boat. I was able to see various constellations in the heavens, the Big and Little Dipper, the milkyway, Orion, and satellites creeping across the heavens. It was very exciting. I am thankful to God and to Dr. Gordan for my excellent vision.

Dr. Peter Gordon is a great doctor. I had cataract surgery in both eyes during the past couple of months and Dr. Gordon provided great pre-op care; a very positive surgical experience; and an extremely thorough and professional post-op experience. The success of my surgery was far better than I anticipated and I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Dr. Gordon. He has always treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. I would recommend him without any reservations or hesitations. He is a great doctor!!!

Dr. Gordon performed two cataract surgeries for me recently. He is very professional, thorough, pleasant and has a nice sense of humor. I am very pleased with the result and am glad I trusted my eyesight to him. I highly recommend him.

I don't care how "brilliant" this guy is, he's still a jerk. There are a lot of doctors who are both brilliant AND caring. I saw Gordon once and never went back, simply because of his rude, arrogant attitude. He's one of those doctors who thinks he's God. Stay away! There are other doctors who will treat you with dignity and respect.

That said, I just left from my second experience with Dr. Gordon. I have had significant eye problems for four months, which have only gotten worse since I began going to this office. Also, of note I will mention that Dr Gordon and his collegue Dr. McDowell have told me two completely opposing opionions.

Dr Gordon arrived to my 8 AM appointment at 8:50 (I heard techs in the hall saying he was not even on site until that time). He failed to apologize.

I won't go into too many details, but this man was incredibly pompous and rude to me. When I asked him to explain what was wrong with me, he began to explain what a cell is to me as if I were an idiot.

Since going to this doctor, I have gone from a corneal abrasion to double vision (I can barely read this screen) and intense sensitivity to light. This doctor has no empathy, as the previous reviewer stated. He simply could not have cared about me less - at least beyond my money.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go elsewhere. Not only to another doctor but to another clinic.
