Save yourself the trouble and pay a little extra for a company that will honor the contract and warranty. My girlfriend warned me about being thrifty, unfortunately I did not heed the advice. He came out and set some traps and sealed the house and it worked...for 5 months. Then we had critters again, I called and he came out, after he told me to set traps (which is why I paid him). Then they came back (they are currently in my walls, I hear them while I write this review) I called and he told me he would call me back. I waited and never received a return call, so I called him back. He seemed very agitated that I was calling him to fix a problem he was supposed to have fixed. He asked me to leave a second message and he would get back to me. He never did (it has now been a couple of months). I completely understand there is a chance for squirrels or rats to find a hole unseen to the human eye, but that is why there is a contract and warranty. As long as the company is honest and adheres to the contract. Now here I stand with critters still in the walls, out the initial amount money I paid and having to pay someone else...listen to me, pay the extra it's worth it.

When I had a cat hiding in my basement, I found that most wildlife removal services have the phone answered by an answering service or machine and don't call you back unless you have need of a very expensive service. Ken answered the phone himself and was kind enough to give me tips on how to trap the cat myself with a hav-a-hart trap since I did not need to have an entrance to the house closed. The cat got out of a carrier when we failed to close the door properly and once we recovered it we were able to get it neutered under a trap, neuter, and release program.

Got Critters did a decent job of locating the source where the tree rats were getting in and sealing them up. However, it took 3 call backs over a period of 3 months at a cost of $750.00. I agreed to pay the fee based upon his touted warranty that any sign of "critters" after would be resolved at no charge per the warranty. 3 weeks prior to the end of his 1 year warranty we had rats enter the home. The owner came out after a few days and found the issue but stated we were out of warranty so an additional charge of $150 was necessary. Upon discovering we were not out of warranty by finding my original check the owner stated his warranty only covers the structure and the rats were getting in due to erosion of the dirt. This house is on slab so at some point they enter through the structure when they are trapped inside the kitchen. I paid the bill as I felt this was just not worth the argueing with the owner but buyer beware make sure you read and question Got Critters warranty as it is very vague as is the owner especially when he states at some point he has to draw the line coming out and taking care of the problem..isn't that what Got Critter guarantee's at no additional charges after the rather high fee?

Ken is the best! He is personable, knowledgeable, thorough, efficient and brave! He got rid of the bats in my attic and then sealed it so other critters couldn't get in. I have referred him to many neighbors and they all had good things to say about him, too!

I would never do business with this person no mater what even if I had a lion in my house. Ken the owner is uneducated and speaks to people in a manner that is uncalled for. Their are small business in the same field that treat people with respect. Do your self a favor and call someone that is thankful to have your hard earn money and not one that is fake and rude

I kindly asked this telemarketer to remove me from their list and not call back. After hanging up, the telemarketer proceeded to call back again. I refused the call and briefly after the event; I received notification of this same posting on Kudzu and Yelp. Please disregard this reviewer. Thank you, Ken.
I had a rat problem Ken came out fixed it.They found another way in, he came back no charge fixed it again. Always prompt never questions anything .Most importantly never asked for money up front! Stands behind his work.

We were referred to Ken and his company from friends. He assured us he could seal our attic and prevent further critters from getting in. We even paid him the full amount up front since we would not be here when the work was to be performed. Ever since the work was performed, we continued to hear the noises in the attic. He refused to come back, instead asking us to recheck the attic ourselves and place peanut butter up there to check to see if there were animals. This was after his work was "guaranteed". After numerous calls, I had another company come, who told me the attic was never properly sealed, and we had three squirrels living in there. His work and guarantee aren't worth a thing, and we were highly disappointed.

As a business owner for more than 20 years, I take great pride and personal interest in each and every one of my clients. I work directly with every client and much of my new business comes from referrals. In looking through recent work orders, I could not identify who this client is. Perhaps they've confused me with another company. I don't operate this way, never have, never will. I would make this right if, in fact, this person has issue with the service they've received from Got Critters and I invite them to contact me anytime to do just that.
Ken went above and beyond, I thought the rats were coming in from the garage. However, Ken showed me the real problems we had in the attic. He resolved our issue and followed up to make sure we were still rat free, which we were! Thanks, Ken!

I used him over a year ago. We moved into our house and found we had unwanted visitors. I heard about him through Ace Hardware. He was helpful, although thought he was priced high at the time. He had to come back 4 times to our house, because the roof rats kept coming back. He did not charge us and we have not seen the rats for almost a year after he last left. We also cut back some of the trees to limit their access to our attic. He didn't always remember who I was when called but then would come within a couple days/week of calling and sometimes would forget to call back. Overall good job just wished the rats would have been rid of the 1st time he came.
