Gowns by Design Bridal Salon

GREAT STORE. I have to say when I saw the reviews I hesitated to make an appointment. My sister bought her dress here a few years ago and I was afraid maybe the store had gone downhill. THEY WERE WONDERFUL! As a larger woman the sales woman made me feel more comfortable than I thought was possible. I saw many beautiful dresses and would recommend Gowns by Design to anyone.

they did everything to make us feel unwanted. the saleslady, bobby or something, was a flat out awful person. she called me fat (im a 6), insinuated i was poor, was rude to my mother and friend, and flat out refused to accommodate any of my own personal requests. FOR MY OWN GOWN!! This place clearly doesn't care about their customers and i suggest that unless you want to leave with a bad self esteem, LEAVE THIS PLACE OFF YOUR LIST.

I went looking for Wedding dresses this past weekend for the first time. The first place I went treated me with Red Carpet Service. The second place I went was Gowns By Design. We made an appointment ahead of time and we were approximately 10-15 minutes early. Immediately we got an attitude from the older lady at the counter. She did show us around the store and explain where each designer was. They offered zero help hooking the strapless bra (not an easy thing to do by yourself). I put on the first dress and the lady walked out to get my other family members. My cousin got out her camera and started taking pictures for reference later as to which one i really liked. The lady stormed and and yelled at her and said ""no pictures allowed and that all dresses can be found online"". I understand it's policy, but if you can find it onlinewhy can't you take pictures?. Anyway, I tried on several dresses after that point and I found one I really liked, then all of a sudden the lady walks out and doesn't give a reason why. Finally a manager walked to help us out. The lady came back and with an attitude, claimed her daughter was on the phone and she just wanted to talk with her. They do not give out style number so that you can reference the dress online. I possibly would have bought a dress there, but the service was so horribleI would NEVER go back!...

My maid of honor and i went by gowns by design to just check out the selection with no appointment (Sat). We were greated by Bonnie who was very happy to assist us. She told us that there was a cancellation and took us to the bridal room. She sat down with us asked questions to get a feel for what I am looking for. She was very personalble and friendly, made us very comfortable and gave great advise. I am now stuck between 2 gowns. This is the TRUE bridal experience and Far from the large chain stores.

I purchased my gown at Gowns By Design. I saw a beautiful Maggie Sotterro gown in a magazine and when I looked for it online it said I could find it at Gowns By Design. I tried it on and fell in love with it, It was very beautiful! I went back with my mother, mother in law and sisters and everyone was impressed with the service we got, they made everyone feel at home they were helpful and helping me into the dress and making sure I had all the undergarments I needed and it was just an overall wondeful experience. I would recommend Gowns By Design to anyone. The prices were reasonable for designer dresses and the service was GREAT!
