I looked at a lot of Trailers and did not find any that equaled the quality and price of this Trailer Manufacturer. I gave them an order and received my Trailer as promised. I have used it several times now and it has been fantastic, it toes Strait as an arrow and the standard short gate is great for hauling dirt and gravel. They offered either a ramp gate or short gate at no additional cost, which surprised me. In all a Great Price and Great people to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a trailer

Hands down, they build a great trailer. No complaints whatsoever on the trailer itself. Customer service is another story. They told us one month to build it when we ordered the trailer, took full payment up front and then took 2 months to deliver. Yes, this means they were 1 month behind. We had no recourse since they already took the money and it's a non-refundable sale. Every time I called I was told either a few more days or 1 more week. At one point I was told it would be a week or so. Having already been through the delays a few times I asked if it would be 1 week or would it be 'or so'. She said it would be one week. Guess what? It wasn't. We went into 'or so'. They offered a loaner trailer, but only for a day or two and the 1/2 hour drive each way wasn't convenient especially when we'd already paid for our own trailer, and we'd need it for a lot longer than a weekend. My suggestion is to look elsewhere, but if Grand Prix really suits your needs the best, just be prepared to wait. UPDATE: (10/13) A few weeks after posting this review, after several unpleasant phone calls with no attempt to make us happy, Grand Prix Trailers sued us for libel. The case was dismissed. We missed several days of work over this. Now we've noticed several locations where rust is coming through the paint. Upon closer examination, the paint job looks poor (thin spots, rust, runs). While we could bring it in for warranty repair, we choose to fix it ourselves.

After looking at the other Trailers out their I decided to buy a Trailer from these guys, Why because the design and construction was far superior to all the other Trailers I looked at. I read the Previous review regarding Paint and it was explained they use Rustoleum Commercial paint, which prevents my trailer from rusting. It was pointed out that I could purchase it in a spray can at any hardware store for easy touch up. It was also explained that my Trailer paint is guaranteed. Next time you are at Home Depot walk around the parking lot and check out the other trailers and see how well their paint looks. I did and you can forget their claims about how great their paint jobs are. It is a real eye opener. They explained they build their Trailers with stronger materials, every contact or joint has a complete weld unlike the mass produced Trailers at other dealers. They also pointed out that the wiring is protected in Galvanized steel conduit not stapled under the wood floor with metal staples "this practice should be illegal" Other Trailers had no fender bracing that I looked at, forget standing on them. They explained they use All-American made components and buy American steel at Everett Steel a local company. They also build their Trailers with American made Dexter axles purchased from Six Roblees another local company not Chinese axles like many other Trailers

I have not yet received the trailer I was promised in "a few weeks". It's been a few months and I get excuses every time I call and I'm not allowed to talk to the owner or a supervisor. I've asked for my money back but to no avail. If I ever get it, I'll post a review on the quality--the rating system on this site doesn't allow separate reviews on that. I certainly hope I'm not accused of being a competitor--I live nowhere near this business and I don't make trailers, otherwise I'd be making my own--it would be so much faster.

Being a manufacturer with its trailers in high demand at certain times of the year lead times can be long. When a Custom Trailer is near completion we are hesitant to cancel orders. When calling for a production update it will not always be possible to speak to the owner of our company regarding your Trailer due his obligations on the production line. We will always keep you informed of any delays and if you need a trailer for a weekend while your trailer is being built, we have several available for your use. The person who posted this review is a mystery to us and we have not been able to identify him or her regarding their concerns.
I bought a trailer from Grand Prix Trailer Sales and one of the primary reasons I did was that they paint all their Trailers with Rustoleum Paint and Guarantee the paint job for Three years. They also Guarantee all welds for the life of the Trailer. It is true they did not meet the promised delivery date but kept me informed of any changes and after finally getting my Trailer it was worth the wait. I pestered them about my delivery. They explained they had a huge number of orders come in at the same time and didn't allow for this in what they told me. Trailer is better than any I looked at and now that I have finally received it I am very happy.

Purchased a basic single axle trailer from these guys and within weeks of getting wet it began to rust like it had never been painted. I'm now in the process of sanding and re-painting bad sections. I just saw another review with questions about weld quality-I hope the construction isn't as poor as the paint! Like other reviews mention, they give a run around on delivery time and it kept on changing. Had wanted to patronize a local business but that was obviously a mistake. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

This review was posted by a competitor and we know who it was. All our Trailers have a three year guarantee on Paint and all welds are guaranteed for the life of the Trailer. For more information regarding our Trailers go to our website.
The Trailer we purchased from them has been excellent. We highly recommend Grand Prix Trailer for any of your Trailer needs. There Trailers are far better than anything we looked at.

I know for a fact any trailer built by Grand Prix is guaranteed 100%, I purchased a Trailer that had a Tailgate issue that was quickly fixed. I am a landscaper and constantly abuse my Trailer with no problems. I am very satisfied with my trailer and would highly recommend Grand Prix Trailer Sales for any of your Trailer needs.
