After a great initial experience with a friendly salesman and a great price quote, we waited longer than expected for our ne entry gate. When the installers brought it out, the gate did not fit the opening. The gate was taken back to the shop, and after waiting 1 1/2 weeks, they came back out and installed it. After the install, we noticed a spot on the powder coat was missing, and the plexiglass backing was cracked. I have called the office 3 times, and was promissed a call back. Also emailed them, and to date have received no response. No customer service and no response to my complaints. Will file a BBB complaint next. Look for a different company if you can.

Great Gates makes pretty good gates, however installation can be slower than expected. The amount of on the job modifications was surprising, and several gates had to go back to the factory to be re-powder coated. My installation began in September and is still not completed in January, but the company has been responsive to my issues & is trying to make the job right. The gates are beautiful & we have had many compliments. The company needs to pay more attention to the minor details and supervise the installers better.

We had Great Gates install a security door on our front and back doors and the quality and installation was shoddy at best. We were going to have our house painted a brown color, so we wanted to have a brown gate installed. They came with samples and my wife picked one that had beige in the title. After they were installed, the door looked gray, and the front door had a lot of paint touch ups on it(we were told that they ran out of colored screws, and that they used silver screws and painted the screws and about a 1/2 inch around the screws on the door itself), and a damaged top rail, so called them to tell them our issues, (the bad rail and paint touch ups), and the operator stated that they had the same color issue with that color door, and that the salesmen should tell their clients that it will look gray instead of beige(nice to know after the fact). After a month we called to ask when our top rail and touch ups would be done, and they said that there were production issues with that color rail and that it should be in in a week. A week later they came out to replace the top rail while we were at work, so we put post-it notes on the bad touch up areas, so that they could fix them, and when we came home the top rail was replaced, the post-it notes were gone, and none of the touch ups were corrected.

When the fence/gate was delivered the curved part of the fence was buckled and crimped. They said it was normal. No one would have accepted this workmanship. Not until we insisted that it be redone did they agree to try again. It was a fight. The second time it was correct. One of the reasons they beat other prices is their product is inferior. You get what you pay for in materials, workmanship and service.I would not recommend them.Lesson Learned!
