Went in on 12-1-11. There were 5 employees and none of them acknowledged me, they were right in front of me doing various tasks. I got the feeling they were ignoring me to see who would have to wait on me. I stood there for a few minutes and finally someone begrudgingly asked what I wanted. I was so annoyed, I just left.

Dear Jakson, We at Great Harvest pride ourselves on excellent customer service so I am very sorry to see that your experience was so disappointing to you. We never want a guest to come in without a warm welcome and a free slice of our bread offering of the day. I was not there (out sick all week) but can tell you this will be addressed and assure you it is not the norm at our bakery. I hope you will give us another chance. You can contact myself or my husband by our website and give us feedback anytime. Thank you for your feedback as we are always striving to improve in all areas of our business. Cindy M, owner
Great Harvest Bread Company on Due West Road is great. I usually buy several loafs of bread as Christmas gifts or thank you gifts. The Cinnamon Swirl Bread is a favorite along with the Cinnamon butter. Their sandwiches are good also.

The website for this place is freeslices.com because when you go in, they have three or four different varieties of fresh bread that they are slicing up for you to sample with their homemade spreads and jellies. You can hardly resist buying a loaf then! They bake it all right there and say they even grind the grain there as well for extra freshness. They have sandwiches and lunch items. These are pretty good, but their strongest suit is the baking. The Great Harvest cookies are great as well. Someone says they even do school field trips here. Have been many times and will go many more!
