Green Summit helped me tremendously in improving the energy efficiency of my house! They are thorough and the information they provided was invaluable. I just finished a major renovation of my 100 year old house. Prior to the renovation, green summit inspected the house and it was even more energy inefficient than I imagined. With their report and guidance, I was able to make the most cost effective decisions to improve the energy efficiency of my house. Green Summit participates in both Georgia Power's EarthCents program and the city of Atlanta's SHINE program. By working with Green Summit I was eligible for rebates through both of these programs. I initially chose Green Summit because they participated in these programs and they were on Southface's list of preferred energy auditors. Green Summit performs just an energy audit and not the actual work. This is an important distinction, in that other companies do both the energy audit and then perform the improvements that they just recommend. It was important to me to have an independent opinion on the energy efficiency of my house and truly objective guidance in how to proceed.

James and Luke of Green Summit were easy to work with and both extremely helpful. I have a background in science and engineering and could tell that they were giving me detailed and informed advice. I wouldn't have known where to start without the guidance of Green Summit. Thank you so much!

We hired Green Summit for an energy audit. James Thomas went over our historic home with a fine tooth comb and discovered that it had 3 air changes per hour & 65% leaky “new” duct work. The employees are professional, prompt, and on time. They have the education and high tech equipment to do the job and provide a comprehensive report. We also hired Green Summit to oversee everything our energy improvement project, everything from HVAC, to insulation, to air quality, all while maximizing the effectiveness of our decisions and minimizing cost. They helped us apply for energy rebates which saved us so much money. They oversaw the work of the contractors we hired. We had an energy audit done afterwards and were amazed by the improvement. We now have a very comfortable house with dramatically lower monthly utility bills. This company is reputable, ethical, and stands behind their work. They truly cared about us and our project. They saved time and helped us stay within our budget, thus saving us lots of money. Our home is now a safe and comfortable place to live. They are easy to communicate with and always available. Based on our extremely positive experience with this company we would definitely HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is considering a home purchase or who wants to improve their home’s energy efficiency. We were extremely fortunate to find Green Summit and have the highest regard for the quality work they do!

Green summit provided an easy to read and generally accurate report. They were also very nice to work with. Complaint would be the Georgia Power Beacon Report. After having the actual work done I was eligible for a larger rebate than estimated. Whatever the case they are knowledgeable and seem eager to improve.

Just the type of useable information I needed to make my rental units more energy efficient. I can now make smart choices to cost-effectively improve the attractiveness of the apartments to potential renters (and begin saving money for current tenants). I learned a lot both about how to tighten up each unit's "envelope" and its HVAC system, but things I can do going forward when major purchases need to be made (e.g., replacing parts of HVAC system, replacing windows, additional insulation, etc). The individual who performed the assessments was very helpful in explaining the processes used during the assessment to make measurements, and the reports received for each unit were in enough detail to target specific actions for each rental unit.

The Company performed an energy audit on my home. Their Representative, Luke, was very polite, thorough and professional. He was careful of our home and furnishings.

I was very pleased with the final audit they provided. It was about 40 pages of very specific things I could do to increase the energy efficiency of my home. I would call this a huge value for the cost.
