Green-faced Goblin Owner--NOT Greenwoods!
The owner came to our table near the end of our dining experience. He asked us how we liked the pie. We actually were not very happy with it and told him we had tried better but it would be fine for the night (and explained our reasoning). He then looked like he was going to pop a blood vessel in his neck and stormed away from the table. When we were ready to pay, we waited an extra twenty minutes for the waitress to come to our table to give us the check. Worst “highly rated” restaurant in Georgia!!

Saw owner chew out staff
Terrible experience, why the positive reviews? Veggies trasted canned, fired chicken was greasy. Service unacceptable. Spoke to owner, I think he said his name was Bill. Not at all apologetic, very defensive. Said we we're crazy for saying his food wasn't great! Really? Then heard the owner chewing out the female staff. Acted like an absolute jerk.I will never return!!!

Best Southern Home Cooking in Georgia!
My family and I have been going to Greenwoods for over 10 years, and we absolutely adore this place. Super friendly staff, charming atmosphere, UNBELIEVABLY GOOD food! The fabulous corn muffins are just a precursor of things to come. I would highly recommend the meatloaf, grouper with lemon chive butter, duck, pot roast, mashed potatoes (gravy is HEAVENLY), and just-like-grandma-made applesauce. Oh, and let's not forget the PIES! Their chocolate cream pie is just about the most decadent, heavenly dessert on the planet. Great place for friends and family. I hope this place is here forever!

One of the best restaurants I've ever visited!
This place is amazing. My husband and I went there for dinner without the kids, I found the rustic setting so charming. There was a long wait, but for good reasoneveryone wants to go here. The food was out of this world. The portions are more than enough to split. My hubby and I split the meatloaf which included 2 huge slices (more than we could finish)- It was barnone the best meatloaf I've ever had. So much flavor then seared till crispy on the outside, almost as if it were a meatloaf steak. The sauce was divine. Our sides were good too, got collards and cabbage although I regret not trying the broccoli casserole, it looked delicious. The price was more than reasonable- I think we paid about $13 for the meal we split- what a bargain for upscale food. The apple pie we brought home was above average also. I like everything is so fresh, I guess being located across from the farmers market has it's advantages. I also like that they use better ingredients such as fresh spices and no antibiotics in the meat. My only complaint is that they are using styrofoam take home containers, I prefer the wax coated boxes. And our waitress was just ok, she didn't have a lot of personality..but she did a good job. Highly recommend this place!! We will be back....

Soutern Canned
Sunday meal turned out horrific. Restaurant was empty. Could not believe a 23 Zazat rating. Creamed corn and black eyed peas tasted like canned. Brocoli casserole was not good Fried green tomatoes were greasy with no distince taste. Stay away.
