Nothing but problems
After purchasing a set of tires, I was to receive 4 free oil changes. Each time I go there, something new is wrong with the car. The first time I was told that a bearing was bad, but Grismer could fix it for $480; however, my husband had put on new bearing this past spring. The second time I took the car for an oil change, the technician found $1700 worth of repairs. My husband questioned him concerning some of the items. It was stated that they had read the code wrong on the computer and that my bearing was fine, it was the tie-rods. In fact they stated to my husband that they had misinterpreted two additional codes. I DRIVE AN IDIOT CAR!! Upon leaving, my husband heard a horrible sound from the back end. A spring had broke and was lying on top of the rear tire. Of course Grismer said they had nothing to do with it, but they could fix it for $500. My husband had 2 babies with him and the only thing they seemed interested in was to get their $500. We had the car towed to a garage to be fixed. Ironically the tow driver stated he has towed more cars from the Springfield Grismer than any other facility. While trying to fix the spring, Grismers had stripped a bolt and the lugnut broke when trying to take it off, and in addition to this they used an airgun to tighted all the lugnuts and the tirelock broke when trying to loosen the first lugnut. I will never go to Grismer's in Springfield again. I still have two oil changes left, but it is not worth it!!!!
