I will never use Grout Works of Atlanta again. I spoke to Jeff at Grout Works about cleaning and resealing tile and grout in two small bathrooms and small galley kitchen; he gave me an estimate of $450. A different company came to the condo and quoted $450 also. I chose Grout Works based on talking to Jeff, I felt like they would do a great job. The technician came out, did the work and gave me a bill for $600. I said that was not close to what I had been quoted and he said Jeff told him to charge me $500 or $600. He called Jeff and came back with a bill of $500. The worker should have been told the estimate I was quoted, and should have told me it was too low before he started the work, not after it was finished. I paid $500. The sealer he used was smeared all over the white freshly painted baseboards in both bathrooms. Obviously no effort was made to prevent this or to clean it off. I called Jeff who told me it would easily wash off with soap and water, or to use Goof off. It did not come off with soap and water. Goof Off removed some, but left baseboards looking dirty. I ended up repainting all the baseboards in both bathrooms. There was even huge smear of sealer on one bathroom door at about shoulder height. A terrible job . No way to do business.
