My neighbor uses Guardian Pool Chemical. I was using a different service. I was getting tired of algae on my steps, having the other company come over and "fix" it. Since I switched to Guardian Pool Chemical I haven't had any algae and my pool looks great.
I have used Guardian for chemical testing and treatment for over 10 years now. I no longer have to waste my time at the pool store being told what chemicals to put in my pool. My pool hasn't had algae since starting this service.
My mother used this service for 24 years. Due to mishandling of equipment, 3 polaris had to be replaced. When my 75 yr old mother was hospitalized, the owner invoiced her- 3 days after learning she was in skilled nursing- for the current month (which based on the condition of pool, he hadn't been servicing), the next month and charged a late fee even though the bill was just mailed out and the previous month was paid on time.
Guardian Pool Chemical provides weekly chemical service. I believe the reviewer does not realize the type of service we provide since she states we mishandled her mother's pool equipment. We do not handle any of our customer's pool equipment at any time. Our technicians test the water then apply the necessary chemicals to keep the water balanced. All other pool maintence (i.e. cleaning, backwashing, brushing) is performed by our customers. In regards to the billing issue, we bill for our services in advance. Our billing system automatically charges a late fee if there is an unpaid balance. The late fee was waived in this instance.
