Southeast Guitar Repair is not affiliated with Guitar Center. They just happen to be next door to GC. People need to realize that. Also, the repair man in GC is a third party repair tech who tells the truth. If you have a crappy guitar that doesn't stay in tune, he'll tell you it's because you have a crappy guitar, with crappy tuners and a crappy bridge. Buy a better guitar!

Was in Seattle and sent my guitar for repair and had it back in perfect condition quickly (acoustic guitar crushed by airline). Now in ATL, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Basic parts are often in stock at the store. The luthiers there clearly play and knew what a professional player needed quickly! Thanks!

$200 dollars later and I still have the same problem with my guitar. I could not agree more with the other negative comments about this store. They got it right on. I can't remember getting worse service or being treated so poorly ever before. STAY AWAY!!!

Very RUDE! Will never return. Never been treated as shabbily by a luthier EVER! I kept trying to test out my guitar to see if they fixed the tuning issues I was having (new bone nut and setup $130!) and the guy kept trying to ring up the sale, ring up the sale, right in my ear, like, "what do you need to try it out for?" All the time, radio playing also - they have NO respect for their customers Needless to say, it DIDN'T stay in tune, $120 later, and they had to keep benching it to put graphite on each string, the whole time being all snotty and saying it was fine, and treating me like an idiot - like I can't even hear if my guitar is out of tune! NBD about the graphite, but they should have done that crap BEFORE I picked it up, and then I had to argue to make sure it was fixed before I left the shop. Then, while I'm still standing there, like "fix my guitar please", he throws another guitar on the bench and starts working on IT! Overall really crummy vibe & absolute ZERO for customer service! Total chopshop. Look elsewhere.

These guys are the best after taking my guitars to other shops and spending money and never getting the problems fixed I found these guys. They have always done the job and done it right. I highly recommend them.

I just called Southeast Guitar Repair, to inquire about having my guitar shielded. I was treated very rudely. At one point the guy asked me, "Are you seriously asking me that question??"
