I had a mammogram appointment at 12:00 and a bone density at 1:00. I walked in at 11:50 to the normal place I get my mammograms. This wasn't my first rodeo there - I have been getting diagnostic mammograms there for the last couple years. I tell the lady I have a mammogram at 12:00. She said, "Oh, you need to be upstairs". I told her I know they have mammograms there but I usually get them down here. She said no your appointment is upstairs. So I go upstairs, tell the receptionist I have a mammogram at 12:00 and a bone density at 1:00. She tells me you are very early. After about 20-30 minutes they do the bone density x-ray. I go back to the waiting room - I sit for 1 hour and watch while 5-6 ladies go ahead of me. I go out to the receptionist and I tell her, I think I have been forgotten. I tell her again, I had a mammogram at noon. She looks on her computer and realizes I was supposed to have been downstairs for the mammogram, 1 ½ hours ago. REALLY? SURPRISE, SURPRISE! So they send me downstairs. I hear more 3 times from 3 different people that my appointment was at 12:00. GGGGRRRR - . So I repeat this story 3 times that I have been here since 11:50. Finally after having to check in again and do the paperwork again - and get my mammogram - it is 3:00. My next x-ray and mammogram will be at Northside. If Gwinnett Medical Center can't even get the appointments right - How I am suppose trust that the results?

I can't complain too much but it wasn't the most amazing visit of my life if you know what I mean. There were ups and downs to my visit. A lot of my ups and downs were the people, some were great some weren't.
