I went on the advice of a friend and I really liked it. The girls that worked there were really nice. I'm thinking of bringing more stuff in to sell soon. Lots of cool new stuff in addition to the pre-owned stuff. I'll definitely be back.

My daughter calls Hissyfits "The Blue Store" and always begs to go. We drive 30 miles from Tempe to go a couple times a month. We sell all our outgrown (but still in great condition) stuff back and get credit. I rarely *don't* have credit waiting for me which is always nice for a stay-at-home mama who doesn't get a whole lot of shopping money. The staff is wonderful and always ask how my family members are doing - they know my kids' names, for goodness sake! The quality of the merchandise is stellar. Yes, you have to dig to find your particular style but there's something for everyone and it's almost always in excellent shape. If it's more of a unique item, it might have some wear but the price will reflect that. Coming from someone who used to work at Buffalo Exchange, I know a good resale pricer (is pricer a word???) when I see one. Anyway, we love it here and send all our friends. Plus, doesn't it just feel better to send your money to a local business? Do yourself a favor and check out "The Blue Store"!!

Hissyfits is the kind of store where the parents have as much fun as the kids. Great stuff for kids and expectant moms, and I never have to worry about my kids being in the same outfit as anyone else!

Hissyfits takes only the coolest clothes that are in great condition. It means getting to dress your little cuties in the best stuff for a fraction of what everyone else pays!!! Awesome!
We don't live close to Hissyfits but make the drive a few times a season. I love getting store credit and being able to use it towards new (well, gently used) clothing. I always find fun, unique things and my son always finds toys he wants, but that I actually approve of. I appreciate their more non-mainstream items too, like baby carriers, and cloth diapers too.
I love this store! My daughter's step mom recommended it after I found out I was pregnant-she'd just had twins-and I'm so glad she did! They have unique new and used merchandise for all ages, including maternity. I love that I can find stylish maternity clothes at a fraction of the retail price. I even did a large chunk of my 10 year old's summer clothes shopping here as they have all the brands she loves but that I refuse to pay retail prices for-Juicy, Hollister, etc. And the staff is awesome! Check this place out!

I really don't understand how everywhere on the net is filled with ALL 5 star reviews ALL on the SAME DAY and no one notices this... but... honestly, this place is great. The staff was just normal nice, not anything all that special- but nice. The clothes were good, but there isn't a whole lot of selection. The really cute things are sold at full price, such as brand new Ts- about $15.00- little legwarmers- $12.00 not really the prices I would expect to find at a consignment store. But the store itself is really cool and very well put together. They only choose cute stuff, and the kids always have a place to play around as I shop (they have a little play area in the middle of the store). I do have a problem now that I see the apparently fabricated ratings all over the internet(almost makes me want to put a ridiculously low rating just to balance it all out!). But I guess if I owned a store, the smartest thing to do would be to hype it up like crazy on every website I could.. So smart, sure, but annoying- even more. I have recommended this place to quite a few people. Nowadays it's good to find a really good resale shop, being that the economy is so crazy.

I love HF. I will make the drive from Chandler as often as I can to buy stuff from this shop. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and they special ordered the Nine Inch Nails lullaby cd for my daughter. I also love the selection of local handmade stuff that is stocked. Great deals make it that much better.

I read all the reviews here on Kudzu and decided to make the drive all the way from Chandler. When I got there not one of the girls would help me. I tried to ask for assistance from one girl but she just looked at me and then finished her conversation with the the other one before she finally made time for me. (BTW, I was the ONLY person in the store). As far as the quality of stuff, it was hit or miss. I saw a couple cute things, but anything that was worth buying was WAY overpriced and everything else was just "ehhhh...." I just said never mind and left. Needless to say I will not return to this store, and I will tell my friends to avoid this place too. So then, as I sat down to write this review. I began noticing the dates on the other reviews. I realized that there are two groups of reviews. First there is a bad one in March, then a whole bunch of 5 star reviews all within a day of each other. Then the next review isn't until June and it was a bad one. Well, just like magic suddenly Hissyfits recieved many glowing 5 star reviews again all within a day of each other. So basically there are three accurate reviews of this place and all the rest are shameless, self promoting B.S. Don't waste your gas driving to this store! Even if you live right next door! p.s. If my theory is correct, following this review there will be quite a few 5 stars coming this way.

Hello from Hissyfits..please believe the hype. I get notified when I receive a review. I take it very seriously. I have hundreds of regular customers and when I receive a bad review I ask my regular customers to jump on and tell their experiences. I dont ask them to hype it up but they do because they love us and we love our customers. We were voted best consignment shop by the Arizona republic!!! I extend this offer to potential first time customers who may read our reviews and want to come and check out our little rockin resale shop....mention that you read our review on Kudzu through the end of 2008 and we will give you $5 off your purchase. No minimum amount required. We are not rude and love our customers so come in and check us out.xoxo HISSYFITS
Since our first visit, Hissyfits remains our favorite clothing/kid/recycle haven in Phoenix. My daughters are always welcomed and enjoy HF while mom searches for a stash of new treasures each day! Amazingly, when we have place a wish on the wishlist, they are the first store I have ever had actually call and get us something we are eagerly awaiting...for THE BEST price possible. Nikki and Shea are down-to-earth ladies, supporting local artists and gifting young families like mine with more than what we need, while saving us cash. ***If you haven't visited this small, locally-owned gold-mine...I hope you do soon. It is our daily stop!

Hissyfits is by far the best childrens consignment store in Phoenix! I have two kids and shop here at least every other week. I always find fantastic deals on name brand clothes and gear. In addition, Nikki and her staff are always very friendly, and keep me in mind when they get something in that they think I'd like, which is great. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for great new and used kids clothes and gear!

I have had nothing but great experiences here. When my kids want a toy- they want to go to hissyfits, not target or anywhere else! I was so excited to find this store, because some of the brands they carry are more exclusive. I don't ever have to worry about seeing my kids wearing the same thing as 12 other kids when we go out because everything that I buy there is more "boutique-y" and one of (or very few of!) a kind. I have taken thing in to trade, and it is always a nice surprise to find out that I have money on the books when I wasn't expecting it. The store is very shopable and child friendly, and they always have great merchandise, plus it's in the central corridor- which is so convenient. As a single mom of 2 kids, I recommend them across the board for value and quality!
