HP Exteriors specializes in Hardiplank fiber-cement siding installation and window replacement.
What sets HP Exteriors apart from other remodeling contractors? The differences are clear, the reasons are simple--
* You get an official James Hardie Replacement Contractor, not a fly-by-night operation or a company who does siding "on-the-side."
* You get the details of the project in writing. No surprises.
* You get top-notch, high-quality products. No.. builder-grade or knock-off products.
* You get installation by trained, insured, professional crews with strict quality control. Not cheap, per-day labor.
* You get immediate customer service with a single phone call. Not the run around.
* You get professional, hands-on project management from start to finish. Not a salesperson who only collects the check.
* You get exact pricing up front. No hidden costs.
And if you're ever unhappy, in two years or twenty, we guarantee we'll make it right.

We had Hardiplank siding installed last month with HP Exteriors and could not be happier!Chris and Harmony and their entire team were a real pleasure to work with. The teams were highly professional,... conscientious and efficient. During the siding phase, Chris was on site every day to check and make sure everything was on track and to answer any questions we had. During the painting phase, Harmony came by every day as well which was great because after many phone calls, I finally got to meet her! They not only did a fantastic job on our siding, they are truly good people who genuinely care about the homes they work on and it shows. If you are looking at Hardiplank siding for your home, HP Exteriors is the only way to go. You will not be disappointed!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
HP Exteriors replaced my house's old windows and replaced and painted the whole house siding. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!!!

We have always read reviews on contractors, so we wondered if HP Exteriors could be as good as the reviews, they were! Working with Chris and Harmony was a pleasure. The quality of work was exceptional! We never come down our street that we donít admire the job that HP Exteriors did! Over the years, 10 houses later, we found someone that exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is beautiful, and the price was right!

The pleasure was all ours! Both of you were a joy to work with and the house looks absolutely outstanding. I expect you will enjoy your new Hardie home for decades to come, and we appreciate the opportunity to work on your home. We can't thank you enough for all the prep work you all did before the project, too. Your efforts made it much easier for our crews to work (keeping the landscaping maintained, the decorative items off the deck, the driveway clear...it's the small things that really make a difference!). Your kindness and appreciation of our crews hard work was icing on the cake. Take care! Harmony & Chris
From the estimate to completion Harmony, Chris and their teams were awesome! Harmony or Chris came by daily to check on the job and make sure things were on track, explained the stages we were in and what to expect next. Can't wait to have them install new windows for me. You can't go wrong with this company. One of the few left that truly cares about their customer and gives true "Customer Service"

HP Exteriors recently re-sided my 2-story home with Hardie Plank (all four sides). Additionally, the fascia and soffits were replaced with the Hardie product; the house was re-roofed; new gutters and downspouts installed; and the house exterior, including trim, painted. HP Exteriors (Chris and Harmony) did an excellent job planning the project and were very helpful in selecting materials that would provide long lasting value and performance. When construction got underway, Chris and/or Harmony were on-site at least once a day to monitor progress and to make sure we were satisfied with the work. When questions arose they were always immediately available by phone, text, or e-mail. The field crew was well supervised throughout the project (Milton). The HP crews are very experienced and their attention to detail and workmanship was top-notch. The site was kept organized and clean at all times. The initial quote for the work was very reasonable and the project was completed within the agreed budget and on schedule. Other work was proceeding at my home at the same time as HP Exteriors was working. HP did a great job communicating with them and coordinating their efforts to keep the overall project moving ahead smoothly with no conflicts or problems. I highly recommend HP Exteriors to anyone considering exterior re-modeling. The entire HP team is dedicated to providing a superior customer experience and do excellent high-quality work.

We couldn't possibly have had a better experience than we did with HP Exteriors. This was our first major home renovation project, and we had heard a number of horror stories...we had braced ourselves for a bumpy process, but that turned out to be completely unnecessary. HP Exteriors exceeded our expectations in every respect. What was contained in the quote was what they delivered. Chris & Harmony were so pleasant to deal with and their team was exceptional. We couldn't be happier with HP Exteriors and our "new" home!

I put off this work for several years. With all of the horror stories we hear with home repair I just didn't want to deal with it. I couldn't wait any longer. I contacted Hardiplank and they supplied me with three names. I don't think they were in any particular order but I remembered reading a review on Angie's List for HP Exteriors and i was excellent. The other two were good also but something stood out about HP Exteriors and I called them first. Chris Sockman responded and a immediately felt at ease with the process. I felt so reassured that I told my friend that I didn't even feel like going ahead with the other two presentations, but I did. The other two were OK but I just felt that HP Exteriors with Chris and Harmony Sockman would be there to watch over me and guide me through the process. I just can't say enough about how easy they made this whole process. They both stood by me and guided me every day during the installation. Each day either Chris or Harmony would be there checking on the work and holding my hand. I have never seen a better bunch or hard working men doing the work each day. They worked fast without sacrificing the quality of their work. So, if you are where I was and are sitting there afraid to move ahead. STOP IT. HP Exteriors will treat you like their own family. You will fee

Mr. P, the pleasure was all ours. What a transformation-- new windows, new siding and a whole new paint scheme...my favorite part of your project was the "Anonymous" paint color (bold and beautiful!). I hope you're enjoying these cool autumn breezes...now that you can open your new windows with ease. Good luck with your butterfly project(s), and thank you for sharing the before-and-after photos on line. Hope to see you around Townelake! Harmony @ HP
Harmony, I just wanted to express my gratitude to you and Milton. Mother nature had paid us a visit last week and left us a very unwanted gift. Milton and his associate were just here, squeezing us into his busy schedlue. The work was completed so quickly and efficiently I was ecstatic. He showed up and went straight to work. I am very very pleased with him just as you had told me earlier he is a very pleasant man and his work is fantastic. My home looks as though it never happened. Please let him know again we (my whole family) will keep you all on our first to call list for any projects in the future. Thank you all so much. My husband will be extremely pleased to see it all fixed up when gets home from deployment. Sincerely your customers for life, The Henkleins

HP Exteriors replaced our siding with Hardiplank Colorplus and it looks fantastic. Chris and Harmony gave us great advice on styles and colors for our home. Milton and Dennis were true craftsman. They did excellent work at very reasonable prices.

HP Exteriors replaced all the windows in my home this past month and I can truly rate them a 10 out of 10. Harmony and Chris are a class act! Excellent customer service, quality craftsmanship, fair pricing and very knowledgeable of their industry/products. What else could you ask for? I would highly recommend this company!

I found HP Exteriors easy to work with. They stayed on top of my remolding/repair project and did not hesitate to go the extra step to provide help in providing information/assistance on any item beyond the scope of my project. Their workcrews reflected their attitude of quality/service. The product they provided was excellent at a competive price.

I will start off my saying that any time you have to spend 5 figures on anything it is never an easy pill to swallow. It is even worse when the person trying to get your sale treats you as a number and not a person. You are NOT going to get that from HP Exteriors. As the title of this review states Chris and Harmony will treat you like family and be there with you every step of the way. The siding and painting crew are both quick and do an excellent job from start to finish. Residing your house is not a decision that you make overnight and everyone at HP Exteriors knows this. You have lots of question. Chris and Harmony have lots of answers. I guarantee that once you decide to sign the contract you will not be disappointed.

I've owned several homes and had work done on all of them, many times. I would love to say that every experience has been great, but frankly, every experience has provided me with some frustration except the most recent one. I only wish every contractor was as easy to work with as HP Exteriors. My neighbor recommended HP Exteriors and he's fairly particular about work he has done. After meeting Chris and talking to him about the work, I could understand the recommendation. Chris told me what needed to be done, what was optional and what he recommended to be left alone to save some money. He also broke down the work in the estimate so that I could choose the specific work items I wanted done. Harmony helped with a couple of revisions and we were good to go. We had the siding and several windows replaced. The materials from the siding and windows to the paint were high quality and the workmanship was fantastic. All of the HP Exteriors' teams were friendly and professional. The yard and work areas were cleaned up every night of all the debris and tools. The dumpster was there just long enough to haul out the old siding. What may have surprised me the most (having had a lot of contract work done on houses) was that they walked me through the process, showed up on time, got done on time and stayed within the original estimate. Frankly, I had not ever had *one* of those three things work out with any other significant project after I signed the contract.

I used this company 5 years ago on our house in Chamblee & they did great. A few minor issues but they were fixed immediately and we were very happy. Now, 5 years later, we have a new home in Brookhaven that needs siding. After the owners wife made me test my home for lead pain, which we passed/didn't have, they don't return my calls. I thought the owners would appreciate a repeat client but instead they just blew us off. Not what my wife and I expected. Thanks a lot HP, I guess our business will go to someone who appreciates the work.

Our apologies Bikemonster (I don't recognize this user name/email or I would contact you directly). We never intend to disregard any client-- prospective, existing or repeat client. I completely respect your desire and need to use another company. That said, please give me an opportunity to personally apologize for the lack of follow-up to your estimate request (either via phone or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org). Since we have worked together on a previous project you understand (and have experienced first hand) the importance our company places on professional customer service. Additionally you know that we personally answer our phones and manage our project; and we do not have a receptionist. We are unable to answer every phone call immediately because we are frequently on the phone with another client or on a job site (with loud machinery), however, if you leave a detailed message (or email) we follow-up asap. Our goal is to return all messages, but occasionally a message is missed. I'm concerned that if you left several messages and no one returned your call, that we have a technology issue. Communication is something we pride ourselves on and is often something we are complimented most about. With regards to the lead paint testing/requirements, I'd like to address that matter: HP Exteriors is not insured nor authorized (by the State of Georgia and subsequently the EPA) to work on any "painted" home built prior to 1978 unless it is cleared by a certified lead-abatement specialist (to be free-and-clear of any lead-based paint on the exterior of the home). HP is not a lead-abatement certified firm and we are not qualified to estimate/work on any projects that potentially contain lead-based paint. The 1978 date is something recommended and enforced by the EPA (per their web site). However, we never "make" someone perform this test (as it can be costly) and occasionally (and unfortunately) have to refer clients to another contractor who is lead-certified. The liability and fine for disregarding this law is $37,500 on the contractor (not homeowner), which is why we take this matter very seriously. The best way for us to eliminate the concern(and potential fines) for lead-based paint is to request a letter from an EPA-certified firm showing the test results; thereby giving us clearance to move forward. This "requirement" is applied across the board to every prospective client/home because the risk-- financially and from a safety point-- is not worth it. Again, I hope you'll give me a call/email so we may speak person-to-person. The purpose of this call would not be to "win you back" but to extend my apologies for the lack of follow-up to your estimate request. I would never want our quality performance and workmanship on your previous home to be overshadowed by a missed phone call requesting an estimate for your new home. Many thanks, Harmony Sockman 770-771-1199, owner.
HP just replaced my windows last month and my home is already feeling warmer than last year. Chris replaced 9 windows in my kitchen and bedroom. These rooms were always cold and drafty. Now I can cook without having to where three layers of clothes. HP got the work done in one day and were very professional.
