It's a great place!, 7/20/2010

I just got hired as a groomer here and I really enjoy it. The kennels aren't fancy but everyone is really knowledgeable and loves the dogs. They are well taken care of. I really am only writing... this review to correct the beagle owner above. He or She stated that their dog contracted worms after three days unfortunately the incubation period for worms is between 12 and 21 days. So the dog had to already have the worms when he came to the kennel this could account for the emaciated appearance. I have witnessed nothing but the best of care for the animals that are trusted to Jeff and his team. They may not be fancy but they get the job done and they really know their stuff. Sometimes experience is better than traditional classroom knowledge. :)

Do not leave your pet here!!!!, 4/16/2010

I was hoping this was a privately run business by people who love dogs. I was wrong. When we picked up our beagle he was completely emaciated. His skin was sagging, which is a sign of dehydration. He... was lethargic and when we took him to the vet we found out he had contracted worms. We ended spending $200 dollars in vet bills and medication to get him healthy again. I don?t think he ate or drank the whole 3 days he was there. Do not leave your pet here. They have a sign on the door that says ?board at your own risk? and they mean it!!! Whatever you save in money you will spend it vet bills later.
