Significant and palpable erosion in their quality of services and professionalism among doctor's and front desk staff. Drs. Jan, Adams, and Dr, Pam continue to provide excellent care and attentiveness to the pet and owner. Dawn of the front desk is also outstanding. However, the gap between the aforementioned individuals and the rest of the staff (vets and front desk) is alarmingly large and enough to motivate me to seek the services of another practice. Over the last 9 years this practice as devolved from a 5 star establishment to a 3 star. I hope they re-evaluate who they hire and how their services are delivered. I would like really them to restore their standing. I have recommended them to dozens of good friends. Keep in mind that my family is only one of hundreds they serve and perhaps my assessment is not representative of how others perceive their services. This is not written to harm, but to inform management of a perceived, but real issue within the context of my experience.

Don't use Hamby Rd Animal Hospital. I was there just a few days ago, and while waiting to get checked in... There was a dog in the back room whining/barking. I'm sure it was nervous or in pain from a procedure. So then I heard someone back there yelling so loudly at him saying STOP... I thought that was unprofessional and mean. Broke my heart, poor helpless animal. I don't care how annoying the pet was being at the time, they still have no right yelling at it and being unpleasant. This is just what I over-heard once. Who knows what else goes on back there and how much mis-treatment is happening. Also, they already have a bad reputation on Yelp/City Search, and I'm adding on my review. I don't think that they're gentle or care. I have 2 dogs, and will never step into that facility again. I don't trust them.

The guys at Hamby Road Vet Clinic are really good. One of the vets came out to our house when we had to put our dog to sleep and that meant a lot to me and my wife. It was really hard for us to decide to do it and the vet helped walk us through the process. Totally recommend them.

The vets and staff at Hamby Road Animal Hospital are the best. We have taken our pets there since we moved here 6 years ago and we've never been to a vet clinic as good as this one. The vets are very knowledgeable and the girls at the front desk are SO friendly and helpful. I am so glad our neighbor recommended them to us because the clinic is across 400 from our house and we might not have known they were there, but it is well worth the drive because of the awesome customer service. We know our pets are getting the best care and that really means a lot!

I had my Stud dog collected back in 2001. As a part of the process the vet is supposed to file paperwork with the AKC to register the semen. I found out this had never been done when we planned a breeding in January of 2011. Whats worse is all though I even hand carried the forms to them it was not done until my client finally interceded. Not sure who's fault it was, Dr. Adams or her staff but record keeping was poor in this case and prompt response to my requests went unanswered until a critical time was bearing down to get it done. Was very dissapointed with how this was handled.

I have a dog that has many behavior challenges. He has seen Dr. Pam for over 10 years - her gentle manner has made taking him to the vet easy. She always takes plenty of time to discuss his medical issues and my concerns. With my other dog, she took the time to research alternative methods of treatment as I was uncomfortable with the traditional treatment regime. I would never take my dog(s) anywhere else.

This vet clinic was used to have frozen shipped from the stud kennel to our veterinarian. The first time, some "smart" person arranged to have the EMPTY container shipped back overnight - you can imagine how high the shipping charges for the empty container were. The second time, we shipped the container from our location, to make sure the same thing does not happen again. The vet clinic was aware what day our container would arrive. Apparently they are not capable to transfer the frozen semen from their container into ours within 2 hours and 40 minutes or have everything prepared ahead of time, so that the container can go out the same day again. Needless to say, we incurred overnight shipping charges again. The stud owner lost us as a customer for future breedings, since we are not willing to deal with this outfit again. Never ever again.

We've gone to Dr. Adams for over 10 years now with 2 separate dogs. She's fantastic, patient, loving, and super knowledgeable. We even moved much farther away from her clinic, but make the drive just to see her.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Ana and Dr. Pam, and the entire support staff. They are kind, knowledgable, and very thorough. The clinic is clean and they have always treated my pets as if they were their own.

My cats have gone to Hamby Road for over two years. When I changed vets, I found out that one of my cats had crystals in her urine for two years, painful at best. Another cat had parasites that went untreated because the bloodwork was not thoroughly read. They also did not use the proper thyroid test for a geriatric cat with hyperthyroidism. Please take your cats to another vet, one that specializes in this animal

Hamby Road focuses on breeding dogs. If you have good results there with cats, you are lucky. My geriatric cat was given meds way too strong, and when I called to ask about nausea and test results from her physical, I was promised a return call, but none came. They only care about delivering expensive puppies

I was pleasantly surprised at the first time I went to this clinic, however, it took only the second to send me in quest of another pet clinic for my dog. Make sure they keep records of your pet's medications otherwise it is left up to you to figure out how many pills are owed to you. (My presciption was not filled because they did not have enough pills) I remain upset by their distateful attitude toward me and would not recommend going here.

I have brought my dogs and cats to them for almost ten years. They are extremely gentle with the animals and caring. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
