Not a good experience. I took my husband there for his birthday. First, the waitress made an innocent mistake and misunderstood what martini drink I ordered: a mango martini, not a mango pina colada. When she took the drink back to the bar the manager had words with her in ear shot of my husband and I. She came back to appeal to me, said she couldn't return the drink, but that she would try to fix the drink. Well, if you're a martini drinker like me, you don't want coconut milk in it. So I told her that I didn't like it, but I would take the drink, but cancel my food order and bring me the check. She said that she couldn't cancel the food order. The manager, who was hovering in the background heard I said cancel food order, came over to ask about the drink. I told him what I ordered. He said no problem and had the waitress bring me the right drink. But he told her that she would have to pay for the drink that I didn't want. When I got the drink, it was sooo weak I didn't believe there was any alcohol in it. She brought my husband's food out about 4 minutes before mine. The food was okay (cuban chicken & plaintain crispy salmon), but not better than I could make at home. Also, it wasn't presented well. It was just spooned on the plate with juices running into my crispy fish. Overall, it was'nt worth the money - $59.93. Also, when I got my credit card bill, they had added the charge of the drink I didn't order!

Excellent lunch specials, flavorful and filling. Fun place and they get you in and out within the hour. A very friendly wait staff and they are knowledgable about all the meals offered. I haven't had the chance to have dinner but will if given the chance, and I will try the VA Beach location as well!
