Love Dr. Golden! My 3 year old bichon has had a skin disorder since she was a puppy that not even GVS could treat. While we were out of town my sister who was watching our dog had a huge breakout and took her to see Dr. Golden for the first time since it was close to her home. Without seeing any of our dog's previous medical history she immediately knew what her conditions were and provided the EXACT treatment she needed. The condition our dog has is incurable; however, our dog has is as happy as ever and life can go on without agony! After 3 years of searching for a veterinarian we gladly drive from Roswell to Suwanee to see Dr. Golden! Every staff member we have encountered has been friendly too and we really appreciate that!

Like other posters, I used to split my veterinary business among two vets in Suwanee. I have made the switch to Heart of Suwanee. I feel valued as a client at Heart of Suwanee, and I really feel like I get my money's worth when I take my two dogs in. Both Drs. Golden and Jackson have spent so much time with me when my pets have had problems. It's not just a 3-minute visit. They actually listen to you, consider what you have to say and work with you to come up with a plan. And, I've never had a problem talking with them on the phone, either. The staff--from the front desk to the registered veterinary technicians (not just vet techs, there is a difference)--is fantastic. Look, there's a reason other animal hospitals run coupons for free office visits. It's because you get what you pay for. We'll go to Heart of Suwanee for now.

I split my business between several veterinarians in Suwanee. I use this location because it is convenient to where I stay and they have cheap prices on vaccines(without exam) and spays&Nueters. I have a rescue organization and have the need for lots of cheap vetting. I have had so many bad experiences here I cannot believe I keep going back. They change their name and their staff frequently so I think maybe this time their has to be a better outcome. I have had vaccine reactions on several occassions. My dogs have continued to have worms even after several rounds of deworming. I don't think they give my dogs the right stuff. The vets here have never been very good at diagnosing skin conditions. The last time I went there I got a great price on a dog spay, but the stitches came undone and my dogs guts were showing. I was able to fix it with some super glue, but the scar line is hideous. If you want a good deal on a spay try the Georgia SPCA on Buford Hwy. They are not as convenient to use, but for the same price you will get a better result. There are 2 other vets in Suwanee that are a little pricier, but there medicine is much better. One is CrossRoads on PIB and the other is Suwanee Animal Hospital on Buford Hwy. There is also a house call vet that I heard was good. There is much more to say, but I hope this helps anybody looking for good/cheap pet medicine in Suwanee.

We're starting to feel a little like Herman Cain Here ! There are several issues I have with this review. First, we have no idea who this client is. If I had a problem of this nature with a service provider I believe I would have discussed the issues with them and come to a resolution. This person did not. Second, does anyone really believe super glue would hold the dogs' "guts" in when supposedly the stitches did not! We are very proud of our modern state of the art surgical facility and the highest quality surgical services we provide! We have lowered our spay/neuter and vaccination fees in order to help people care for their pets when they might not otherwise be able to do so. If this ruffles the feathers of "other" veterinarians in the area then so be it! But let me point out that "malicious intent" to intentially harm someones credibility is a serious issue and should not be taken lightly!!We at Heart of Suwanee are very proud of what we have accomplished and feel that reviews sush as this are not based in fact and may in fact be an attempt to discredit us. We invite anyone to come tour our facility and speak with any of our doctors and make a decision for yourself. Thank you, Robert W.Hall, D.V.M. owner HOSAH
Very disappointed when we picked our pets up to see they had not been fed correctly or given their medicine. When the staff was questioned they just shrugged it off. We had used this vet a few years, but no more. Our pets are our children too.

We were referred to Dr. Jackson because our dog unfortunantly had heartworms. It was very devasting to hear because you rarely hear about dogs pulling through something like that. We went to Dr. Jackson & he was able to put our minds at ease. He made us very aware of the risks and precautions we would have to take during her recovery, while at the same time making us very confident that he would take great care of her. We still have our dog today because of him, and could not be more grateful!

My neighbor recommended Heart of Suwanee Animal Hospital when I was looking for a place to board my 9 mos. old Springer Spaniel. We left him for four days and it was so nice that we could pick him up on Sunday! He was happy and well and did not pick up any bad habits. Thank you so much for your caring and clean facility!!! We will back!!

I can't thank them enough for all the help and care they gave to Lucy (our Dachshund of 16 years) during her battle with cancer. They help us sustain a quality life for Lucy during the last days. They have a genuine concern to help in any way they can.

Saw Dr. Jackson who did not look at previous visits, bloodwork or dignosis before coming in and attempting to swindle me out of my money with outlandish symptoms and expensive treatments. Glad I knew what and when my dog had things done or I would have been defenseless against his ridiculous suggestions treatments and test. Usually see Dr. Golden and never had this problem but he's ruined that place to the point that I will not be back.

All that the "doctors" care about is getting more of your money. They do not care about the animals and basically call you a bad person if you choose not to participate in one of their crazy recommendations.

I have no idea what this individual is referring to. We have lowered our Spay/Neutered prices as well as our dental cleaning prices to the lowest in the county. We frequently work with our clients because they, like most of us , are struggling through hard times. Note the trust rating on this individual and judge for yourself. As always anyone is welcome to visit with us and recieve an estimate of costs prior to any service. The doctors at HOSAH
I was quoted a price over the phone to get my dog washed there. I called again to verify before leaving the house and then when I got to the center, the price was higher. I gave them an exact description of my dog over the phone (long haired, 100 lb golden retriever). They also wanted to tack on a "kennel cough" nose spray charge of around $10.00 which they did not tell me about over the phone. I was very disappointed and left without having my dog washed there.

We made kennel reservations here for our 2 dogs about 3 weeks ahead of time to board them over the Thanksgiving holiday. A week prior to dropping them off we called and made arrangements for both dogs to be groomed on Friday just before we were to pick them up. The person making the appointment mentioned that they would be closed the weekend after Thanksgiving but would have no problem grooming them on the Friday. When we arrived to drop off the dogs on Wednesday afternoon and brought up the grooming appointment the front desk person proceeded to lie to us. Her story was that the place never makes grooming appointments until the people actually walk in with the dog(s). She went on to say that their groomer was scheduled off because they did not have any appointments for Friday???????? My wife and I looked at one another in disbelief. Not only had they made the arrangements with us they now were making up some kind of lie to cover the fact that their groomer ended up not being available! I really really hope that this kind of dishonesty does not come into play when it's a matter of a pet's medical care. We will never take that chance. As noted here on Kudzu there are several reputable vets in the same area.
