It's "natural" for dance-supply stores to be rude because there are only so many in this area, and we as parents MUST dress our daughters in appropriate ballet attire as required by the studios. Yes, I did have a couple of rude encounters with the young people there, but I also had a helpful experience with Heather herself who helped pick out for me modern dance apparels even though I stayed right up to the store closing time. I hope this helps...

I have shopped at both the Manassas and Stafford locations and enjoyed both of them. If you are a person that gets nervous in small spaces that are crowded avoid the Manassas store at "back to school" time.... it gets crazy busy in there : ) The Stafford store is a lot larger so you have more space to spread out!!! Their customer service was awesome.... they took the time to actually fit me. Meaning they didn't hand me the shoes and walk away like department stores.... they stood there and explained how much the shoes stretch and how they should fit. Hello!!!! That is service. As for the review below... that is a total bummer but everyone knows 1st time pointe shoe appointments take anywhere from 45mins to an hour so trying to squeeze that in last minute 15 minutes before they close is kinda ridiculous. And its worth it to re-schedule with them because they actually take the time to describe how the shoe should feel and really work with the dancers. I LOVE THIS STORE!!!!!!
