I bought a Maltese puppy from HGK, and my "Queen" (name I gave her) is doing just fine! She's 18 months now. I was driving from south Ga to pick her up from Ms. Leslie, and she met me half way in Macon, Ga and I am grateful for her. Thanks HGK!

I received my Rotties paperwork last week and got him all registered on the AKC website. He just went on his his first boating / beach adventure at Dog Island. He dug 15 holes played in the waves and swam all over. He is not scared of a thing! Thanks again for everything Leslie , I cannot tell you how happy this dog has made us! Best decision ever!

Leslie, I truly want to thank you for a wonderful buying puppy experience. You followed through with what you told me and I appreciate that very much. With so much scam artists out there on the internet it can make one very anxious about conducting business over the internet. I would not hesitate to recommend your establishment to my friends. At some point we may have to look at another little one :-). Thanks again. Jennifer

My son-in-law bought a rottie puppy from Leslie Ayo 20 days ago when the puppy was 15 weeks old. Leslie told my son-in-law that the puppy was 12 weeks old and had all shots up to date. The Rottie became sluggish last night with diarrhea and vomiting. My son-in-law just took that baby to the vet and it was diagnosed with parvo. Anyone who knows anything about parvo knows that this is most often a death sentenced for dogs. Now, here is the worst of this terrible breeders neglect. The puppy that my son-in-law purchased was ill when he bought the dog, because the vet just confirmed that it takes 14 days from exposure before the dog shows signs of parvo. What is tragic is that we let this sick Rottie play with my English Mastiff puppy, not knowing the Rottie had the virus, and my puppy died last week of parvo. This breeder had the audacity to tell my son-in-law that she would not compensate for the expenses of a puppy that she sold sick. I do intend to contact Randy Travis to investigate this kennels practices.

Any vet or breeder will tell you it only takes 7 days and not 14 for the symptons of Parvo to show up in a young puppy. They will get sick within 2-3 days. You say your dogs got sick almost 20 days later which is impossible for them to have been sick in my care. Your son-in law was going around purchasing dogs from many different kennels at the same time. He even told me that one of the other dogs got sick first and then the rottie. You have to make sure not to expose puppies to to areas were other dogs frequent which he did not, by taking them to the park and pet smart and letting them walk around on the grass. I am sorry for your loss, but it is not my fault. I even offered him a replacement puppy because I felt sorry for his situation, even though I was not in the wrong but all you want is vet bills. As far as I know the Rottie is still alive and well so how could this be my fault?
I bought a rott puppy and the next day my puppy was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was at the vet for several day. The vet did not think the pup was going to make it. After all of this...Ms. Ayo at "Heaven's Gate Kennels" would not pay the expenses. In the contract listed online it states that "you will receive a healthy dog!" I think she needs to get someone to translate for her. 4/13/10 Months later my puppy was diagnosed with epilepsy and 4/9/10 my puppy was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Wonderful genes. Thank you, Ms. Ayo!!!

Ms. Janet Singleton's puppy was diagnosed with the dog flu that was infecting certain parts of the country that year. The puppy was treated for its symptons and recovered fine. The hip dyplasia was unforseen and a trait which Rottweilers are prone to. I have taken the parents of this puppy off my breeding program to make sure this defect isn't passed on. I reached out and offered Ms. Janet Singleton a replacement puppy. My puppies do come with a warranty and health records. Ms. Singleton does not want a replacement puppy only her money for vet bills which I don't pay. In my 10+ years breeding this is an isolated incident and I have many clients and reviews that say so. I raise my dogs with love and care and they all come with a replacement warranty for their health.
I brought my dog from Heavens Gate Kennels a couple of years ago. I was very nervous because so many things can go wrong. Leslie, the owner, answered all of my many questions and was so helpful. I still keep in contact with her until this day and still call her for advice. I also take advantage of her training, grooming and boarding services. She has been a blessing to me and my Rocky. Her trainer is awesome and he had Rocky trained so fast that I think the dog whisperer better watch out.
