Prices are high. Had my kids with me and would not let them come in just long enough to use the restroom. Not only that, he was extremely rude about the whole situation. I wouldn't even let my dog go to this dump.

Apparently this USED to be a good place, because the reviews from several years ago tell of a decent establishment. Whatever brought about the downturn needs to be rectified. Little drinks, poor service, lackluster food, unfriendly management (owner). Can't recommend this one at all! Not a good experience.

First off, I as well have no affiliation with any other bars or owners of any other establishments in the area. Nor have I ever been kicked out of Hemingways. But I have witnessed Dave, the new/old owner, treat multiple guests horribly on multiple occasions. I STOPPED WAISTING MY TIME AFTER THE 4TH INCIDENT! Never once was I offended by anything anyone had ever said or done before they were unnecessarily tossed out of the bar, and Im sure plenty of people feel the same way I do. Just look at all the horrible reviews w/in less than one year of him taking back over. I have seen Dave curse relentlessly at patrons for saying or doing little to nothing. He is a sorry, disgusting, negative, disgrace of a human being and I can't wait for someone to buy him back out so I can once again enjoy my time at what used to be a wonderful and laid back place to hang out. Seriously folks, don't waist your time, energy or money on this lame attempt at a "better hemingways".

This is the worst managed bar in Metro Atlanta! The owner has zero personality, zero customer service skills and charges - (no joke) $7.50 for about 4 oz of drink in a plastic cup! After we left, he told the rest of our party to get out because we had questioned his drink prices. Furthermore, he repeatedly called us "trash" for doing so. The bottom line is that you can expect to get crappy service, crappy drinks and disrespect from the owner at this establishment. I think that the guy has pyschiatric problems because he doesn't seem to relate to people well - a curious lack of skill for someone in the hospitality business. I would have rated Hemingways zero stars if that had been an option. If you go there after receiving this (and previous, I see) warning, then you'd have to be as crazy as that owner guy who called us "trash" on our first visit there. We won't be back as patrons, but possibly as litigants against the ownership for defamation!!

This is a fun place to go hang out on Friday or Saturday. It is really laid back and inexpensive. They have a live band and it is right on the Marietta square so you can also walk around. I go at least once every couple weeks. Oh, and the food is good too.

This is a really fun place to go hang out. It is a laid back environment. Prices are good, but they do give you plastic utensils, foam cups, and paper baskets. Live music, on the square, great environment!

The food here is good mid grade food and reasonable prices. Don't expect much here though. Plastic ware and cups are the norm. The inside is kind of dingy and not always clean.

Had my birthday party here in March, it was a great time and the waitress we had was very accommodating to our large group. The musicians they have on the weekends are generally great as well!

Just a nice place to grab a bite and drink. Kind of old timey. Definately a "Jimmy Buffet" kind of feel to the atmosphere. Love the mermaid. The parrot is good too, but love the mermaid.

Hemmingway's made me a great fan of Poor Otis, an 80s cover band local to the area. It's a very popular place, but that means it's always extremely crowded and the service is incredibly slow. Go for the music, because it's never disappointing but don't go for the food or service.
