I went to Herz to rent a car because they offer a greater AAA discount. This was a mistake. I got so frustrated that I ended up walking out and going to a different car rental company. The problem was that every employee had a different take on the policies. My Girl friend is under 25 and over 21. With other car rental companies I rented the car and put her down as a secondary driver. With Hertz the website stated that a person can rent a car if they are over 21. So, I was going to but her down as the secondary driver like I have with the other companies. The employee at the counter said lat out the policy is no under 25 can drive the cars. I then showed him the print out of the web site. He stated that the web site was wrong. I then asked for the manager. He stated that a person over 21 and under 25 can rent a car but can't be a secondary driver and can't have a secondary driver. When I asked to see that policy in writing, he couldn't produce it. It seemed like they were making up policy as they went along. I then went to another car rental agency.
