When I moved in my hot water heater had been wired to the condo across the hall. However, because the man I had purchased my condo from owned them both I was able to contact the real estate agent to have it fixed (I believe, though am not sure, by the same may who had incorrectly wired it). Then, after only a few months, it would flip the breaker daily, which I convinced the previous owner they needed to repair do to crazy nature of the original problem. Then, a few months later the electrical problem blew up the heating coil in my hot water heater. Now, 14 months later, the breaker is hissing and shutting down again. I feel fairly confident that the electrician is grossly incompetent and has caused major issues and subsequent costs.
