Mrs. Teresa very very very unprofessional tells you one thing does another.Doesn't return calls. Plays clients against one another to get a better price. Black owned and no coustmer service. The staff and event space were great. We liked that it was on the south side so out-of-town guests had easy access from the airport and didn't have to venture north toward or through downtown. I admit we were a little high maintenance and had a lot of questions but the staff was patient and accommodating. Our guests were pleased with their food, music, lake and ballroom. By the way, we discovered Hidden Lakes when my (now) husband and I attended his co-worker's wedding there last year so we already knew it would work well for us.

If customer service is not the most important thing for you when planning your event, this just may be the place. The building is a bit dated, and needs some refurbishment, but my reason for not returning or recommending would be the lack of customer service displayed by the management team. when we questioned why food ran out at BBQ event, we were told our people must have been eating too much. I'll share a tip from Foodservice 101,if your amountof food seems low, make sure your servers are there to avoid this problem. We were told we would have a hawaiian theme, and all we got was a grass skirt around the bar (white and brown table linen/c'mon now). I do appreciate, Miss Anne, who attempted to resolve my issues once management passed me along to her. I felt it was unprofessional later at evening event to pull food off line after 20 minutes, only to see employees eating full plates, meanwhile our latecomers were told it was nothing left. In you are to be successful in business, there is no room for EXCUSES. PS, the DJ did a good job!!!
