High-Tech Transmission Service

After avoiding transmission work on my classic car for a few years, I finally got a recommendation to take my car to Bob at High-Tech Transmission on Buford Highway. Coming from a reliable source, I decided to take my car in and I couldn’t be more pleased. Bob, Benny and Steve were all great to work with. They took the time to analyze my vehicle and recommended repairs that would provide the best results for the least cost. While they had my driveline apart, I had them add a couple of performance enhancements that I had also been considering. They took great care of my car during its stay and it shifts better than I can remember. I’ve talked with Bob, Benny and Steve on several visits; and they’re just honest. Time and again I saw them striving to save customers money AND fix the problem. With transmissions, that can be a difficult task. A task that is done well at High Tech.

It has been over 10 years since we started bringing our cars to Bob and his talented team. Bob knows transmissions – he and his team of very experienced mechanics are experts. The first job they did for us was to replace the transmission on a car that had a history of transmission problems. Yet he replaced it, guaranteed his work and stood by his warranty. Bob gives his time generously to explain the problem and will do a diagnostic test for free. These are a few things that make his shop stand out from the rest. He road tests each time until he’s satisfied with the work, he shops around for the lowest cost on replacement parts (and passes the savings on to you) and doesn’t limit his services to just transmission repairs and maintenance. We were fortunate to have found his trustworthy auto shop just before my husband was called to active duty overseas after 9-11. We didn’t have to worry about being taken advantage as I knew nothing about cars. The notecards from grateful customers displayed in his waiting room say it all. Sue and Pete

High-Tech Transmission offers the best of all worlds' an excellent quality product supported by outstanding service @ very competitive pricing
I've had two older car's transmissions replaced by High-Tech & they both run like new ones which helps to put off buying replacement vehicles
Bob & his long term team do an excellent job before & after the work is completed

They fixed the problem with my Mazda for a fraction of what I thought it was going to cost. I could have easily been taken advantage of, but they treated me fairly and explained what the actual problem was. Truly a pl;ace you can feel at ease doing business with!!!

Bob and the gang at High Tech are the best transmission and general repair mechanics in the city. Period. Quality, honesty and value best describe this company and they go to great lengths to protect this reputation.
