I went to Perimeter North Family Medicine once a year for a physical for about 4 or 5 years. Then last year, they tried to overcharge me for extra blood tests that I did not ask for or need. (These tests had already been done at my employer, so there is no way I would have authorized them). They gave me the runaround regarding the charges until I called the BBB. Then, this year in April I got a note from Dr. High that he was dismissing me from his practice. Then a month ago, I just got a letter wondering when I would be coming for my yearly physical. Avoid Dr. High!

I have been going to Dr. High since the 1980's. He is very good and a real person who you can actually talk to. The only reason he got only four stars for the service part is that you do always have to wait and be patient but it is well worth it and his waiting room is quite comfortable.

I highly recommend and would refer all of my friends to Dr. High. He is a very caring and genuine doctor. I must say I don't have a problem waiting as his patient, because he always takes the time to help, listen and remedy the problems at hand.

He always runs late because he takes his time with each patient - he sees the big picture of health and spends time to get to know you. If I have to wait for over an hour to see him, I know when it is my turn, I will have his undivided attention. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor to really listen.

Doctor High is one of the few that actually listen to you and does not try to get you "in and out" of his office. Sometimes there is a wait, but he is well worth it.
