I have shopped at HPS due to it's location... close to my house. Not only do I find the selection overpriced, but the staff unacceptably unfriendly. Not everyone mind you, but the majority of the people there (the owner has been "helpful" but not "friendly"). I special ordered pet supplements for over a year and yet, when I walked in last week, the girl behind the desk (not the owner) said they have it or carry it. How interesting. She didn't offer to special order it which they always did when they were out; which was essentially every time I purchased it. I find the overall demeanor snobby (WHY???) and won't shop here anymore.

I frequent many stores in Atlanta looking for new products for my dog. The shopping experience I had at Highland Pet this weekend was good but they were so busy that I could not get anyone to help me. There product selection is good. Overall it is a good place to shop for pet supplies. Stay away on weekends.

There aren't enough nice and good things I can say about my fav pet store HPS!!! I am always greeted warmly as is my pooch when stopping in to get food and treats. They staff is extremely knowledgeable and eager to help whenever I have any questions and always help to bring food out to my car! The customer service is outstanding and they have a great selection of foods, treats, toys, leashes ect ect. They are everything a pet store should be and more! I drive all the way from Buckhead just to get food there for my animals. The prices are reasonable and the staff really know their stuff. Best place to get all your pet needs!!!

This local pet supply store is a great spot for unique collars, leashes, treats, and food. They also have an area where you can bath your own dog. This is a great alternative to going to the groomer so often. Cute store!

Knowledgeable staff- they can talk you through any pet food worries you may have and recommend the right product for your pet. Great pet toys, large supply of beautiful collars, leashes and harnesses. This place also has a doggie wash station - great for large breed dogs.

Highland Pet Supply is definitely my go to place in Atlanta for pet products. They carry high quality foods that the major retailers don't carry, great supplements and vitamins, and cute collars and leashes. They carry Bowser beds (the BEST dog beds) and fun toys, bowls, and treats. Toni and the rest of the HPS staff are great. I also highly recommend Ian for training!

It's difficult to find high quality food for pets - Nature's Variety, Evo, etc. I was overjoyed to have Highland open its doors. You won't find junk there, only the good stuff for your animals. If you go there regularly, they know your name. It's a nice personal touch.

One of the nicest stores I've been to in a long time. The staff is always willing to chat with you and give you great information. Their price points are right on the money for quality products that they carry. As stated I other post you won't be disappointed. Great place!

I love the doggie bathtubs here. They have a ramp and a clip for your pooch's collar, of course, but I think where they stand apart is the shampoos, conditioners, brushes and perfumes at my disposal. I also love the hair dryers. Another reviewer said you won't leave here empty-handed -- believe it! They have all kinds of grooming products, toys, food ... and stuff for the kitties too.

These people really care. You will find everything you need and it is not like a PetMart or some place that doesn't really know animals. Very friendly staff will help you in the store.

I have a young lab who loves puddles and mud and Highland Pet's dog wash facilities are wonderful! The tubs are on a platform so they're easy on my back and the best part is when you're done they clean up! This week my lab got into an especially noxious puddle and a very nice employee let me try a special shampoo that would help get rid of the smell. AND IT WORKED! On our way out, we always get a nice selection of bones and healthy treats so it feels like a fun outing for my new little girl. If you need training, check out Ian's class!

Highland Pet is #1 in customer service. They stock high quality food, treats, beds, crates, grooming aids, toys, books and gifts. Satisfaction is guaranteed. The staff offers sound training advice for pets and carries packages to your car! They will also special order. Highly recommended.

We had so much fun picking out new bones and chatting with the employees here; what a great spot. So friendly and the shop has unique stuff for pet lovers (be warned, you won't leave empty handed)! Don't expect to get a bargain, but well worth it.

I took my dog here and she loved it and they loved her. I felt very welcomed and the dog baths were great. Although it may be a little expensive I feel that it is worth it for the personal service you receive.
