I have a Trane 19-SEER system under warranty and I do have the twice-yearly maintenance service. Yesterday the A/C failed late in the afternoon. I called their after hours line and had a call back in 15 minutes. They had me do a test and leave the system off for 30 minutes and restart. It failed again. 20 minutes later they were here and the problem, a faulty magnetic switch, was fixed in 20 minutes. It doesn't get any better than this when the problem is fully repaired within two hours of the after-hours call.
